:laugh Yeah Trouba isn't waiving for Southern California, And Vatrano and a 1st for a player whose value isn't any more than a 3rd round pick.

Anaheim passes, They need Top 6 RW and Top 4 RHD, Which none you provide them.

Laine for Zegras
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NHLfan10506</b></div><div>Zergras to Columbus…maybe Kent Johnson and another piece like Corson Ceulemans, Guillaume Richard or Andrew Strathman
Laine to Anaheim…maybe CBJ could add a piece to derisk the trade and get the Edmonton pick….but more likely a couple of mid-picks</div></div>
I feel like this was pretty extensively covered a few months ago: Johnson and Zegras are too similar players for a team to have both, and both are too young for either team to give up on/need a change of scenery. A swap makes sense, but like...3 years from now if both aren't working.
Even if a Laine-for-Zegras swap made sense, Columbus needs to add for the younger, cheaper, cost-controlled, lower-risk player. That much is obvious. It's a big no from Anaheim.

It's equally as bad from the Hawks side. Some trade are just lose/lose trades.

Good, spread the word to your fellow habs fans to stop posting Zegras ACGMs, none of you have had an original post since February on the matter.

The trade comp for Zegras is Gauthier and Mittlestadt, that translates to Reinbacher and the 25 2nd.

Farabee is a 0.54 PPG player and Frost is a 0.48 PPG player, and both are left-handed. Zegras is younger, doesn't cost much more than Farabee and is a 0.73 PPG player despite his injury-riddled 2023-2024 season. Anaheim passes.
I think that it will take Tyson Foerster and your 2024 first to get Zegras out of Anaheim.

Call me crazy. But I wouldn’t be surprised if LA <strong>was</strong> on there. Gibson wouldn’t have to pack up his family from SoCal and his wife and children wouldn’t have to change anything.
That being said, I highly doubt a Ducks Kings trade will ever happen anytime soon.

As of today, Knight is the second coming of Jack Campbell. Except he's paid as a high end tandem at the NHL level while languishing at the AHL level.
Sure, there's some upside there, but there's also risk, and for Florida, his contract is a problem.
In a Vatrano Knight trade, Florida is the one adding.

Why would Anaheim want to trade Vatrano and 2 3rds for an AHL goalie making $4,500,000?
