Perfetti is a good start, needs 2 other good peices yet minimum, more if your expecting Tanev aswell.
Other teams will beat it easily</div></div>

Jets Remodeled
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jfkst1</b></div><div>Guessing Lambert and the 2025 1st would be the starting point as the rumor from Friedman is Dubas wants a Giroux package which was a late 1st, good prospect, and additional mid rounder. Might want more based on what other offers he can get. Guentzel only has a 12 team block list and WPG might actually be on it too.</div></div>
Problem is Giroux signed and the word seems to be that Guentzel would want to resign after the playoffs in pitty, a team would likely want to talk to him and at least get a good sense he'd be willing to resign to get a big package like that, but the prices have been high so maybe they could get that for a rental alone

The pick being 2 years out isn't ideal, and they'd probably want a 1st rounder for him but I don't think it's a bad offer, although maybe someone offers a 1st and B+ prospect that hed prefer

I mean Andersson would have to be available to begin with which I doubt he will be but, Perfetti and Salomonsson is basically the most quality jets could offer for young players/prospects, I could see them wanting a 1st instead of 2nd but not sure how much more they could get

February Ranking of Top 32
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Z0ra</b></div><div>Connelly is a top 5 player in the draft. Skating is the best in the draft and he just can do everything offensively. I like the Barzal comp, but I think Connelly is more Jack Hughes.
Parekh does give me Dragicevic vibes. Remember when everyone thought Dragicevic would be a top 15 pick last year? That aged well, fell because of his bad defensive game. Parekh won't be drafted out of the 1st round, but I see him being taken around the 16-20 range. Anywhere above that is a reach.</div></div>
Parekh reminds me alot of Neil Pionk and I don't see that pedigree for Connelly skilled no doubt but not Hughes level

Yeah he's one of the wildcards for sure he has a lot of skill but another guy I question the ability to transition to the big leagues, I think unless someone takes a chance on him in the 9-12 spot he could fall quite a bit similar to Lambert a few years ago

Yeah 100% and I think Tanev would be enough to solidify our defense for playoffs but I wouldn't be willing to give up more than mtl's 2nd and Stanley for him

TANEV BROS UNITE IN PEG CITY
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SRJD123</b></div><div>That's how the deadline works! C. Tanev isn't going to cheap as plenty of team's are going to be bidding on him. I think if the jets are going to make a deep run this year I'd rather have the Tanev bros (both energy guys that can play shutdown rolls on the 3rd line and top 4 D) over Iafallo on the 4th line and Kupari a healthy scratch. Lucius is a good prospect that's had some tough luck with injuries recently. He has the skill to develop into an NHL 2C but I don't think he'll get there. The 2nd is for taking on Iafallo's contract next year and since we already traded our 1st this year for Monahan we might as well go all in. Brendon Dillion cost us two second rounders when we acquired him, so I really don't see this as a crazy overpayment for two guys that can potentially make a huge impact on a cup run. I know this trade won't happen but man would I love to see it. GO JETS GO!</div></div>
I get that and love both players but a deadline where we spend a 1st round pick, early 2nd rnd pick, Lucuis, iafallo, Kupari and a 5th and still don't address our two biggest needs a true 2 C and a true top pair RD I see as overspending on under qualified rentals and a failure

I can see why people have him ranked higher, I've just never been as high on him as others, great junior player but I get the feeling his transition to the next level won't be easy, like a Drouin

Bones Why Are You Such A Dinosaur
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MisstheWhalers</b></div><div>You are right, Bones is wrong.
I just don't know how it's supposed to work with all three of Ehlers, Connor and Perfetti in the top six, having three similar players that are all on the smaller side isn't going to work even if they're skilled.
Any offense the 3rd line was generating has dried up and imo Nino is going to waste on that line so move him into the top six to inject some size on the 2nd line.
I'd try this:
Ehlers-Scheifele-Vilardi
Nino-Monahan-Nino
Iafallo-Lowry-Appleton
Barron Namestnikov-Perfetti</div></div>
^ even swap namestnikov and Appleton, let Perfetti center the 4th line

Demidov is a nasty hockey player oozing with skill definitely top 5 should be top 3, Lindstroms upside is too intriguing to pass on after the top 3 imo, I like Parekh but the transition to NHL could be tough for him, not as high on Catton as most are
