That’s more or less what I was trying to get at from the outside looking in nobody really knows what’s going on with him.

Maybe unengaged would be a better word than pouting.
But that’s just my take on his work ethic this year seems like he’s pouting but I could easily be wrong about that.

I really don’t know the only reason i even mentioned the above trade is Scheifele might actually re sign in Buffalo I think your teams done a lot of things right lately and scheifeles from Kitchener which is a two hour drive. Would give you a good 1a 1b with Thompson and pionk could slot in beside power for a long time.

Sure it hurts to lose krebs and olofsson but I didn’t even look before I said that and now I’m realizing they’re both left hand shots and that really doesn’t work for Winnipeg anyway that leaves us with like 3 righty’s on the whole roster.

I really don’t see Winnipeg moving demelo. But would have to be traded for someone who could jump in and help now it wouldn’t be for futures.

If the Jets goal for next season is to be better than the junk they are now AND the decide the defense needs more improving upon I think the best they could probably do is what bnormie46 said and acquire Chycrun (or Provorov)and play them on their offhand, what either would cost I have no idea, with how consistently inconsistent this team is the thought of trading either of their next 1st round picks makes me wanna puke but that's what it'd take as a starting point for either of those guys.

My take is get a new coaching staff that'll change the systems to suit this team, cut the dead weight and fix the bottom two lines and see what that does.</div></div>

I still think Samberg would be a good option on the right side he’s played there in college why not give it a shot and see if him and morrissey mesh well?

Yeah I think we have to cheer for the rangers now even though that kills me.

Jiricek would be huge for this team I’m 90% sure you could plug him right in would give us a d man to run pp1 and we’re not finding a better option without trading scheifele but if we trade scheifele for a RHD then we’re going to be thin at C I’d like to see chevy trade scheif for something like Larkin or couturier personally.

And those are all fair points I think a fairer point would be that wheeler scheifele and Connor being one of the worst defensive lines in the league and giving up way more scoring chances than they take. Even though lowry doesn’t produce he certainly doesn’t give up many chances. He’s an elite defensive forward but I can get where you’re coming from if you’re hoping he’ll gain some sort of consistent offensive finishing you’re out of luck I’m afraid. But he doesn’t hurt this team in the slightest
