Think Colin White makes sense. He doesn't seem to have a place in OTT, and a right handed top-6 forward should be in their interest...

San Jose Sharks signed Fredrik Claesson (1 Year / $700,000 AAV)
STEADY FREDDY! Stick him with Erik immediately, and you're playing with house money. Those two were so good together when Claesson was actually used. I still think he's an NHL player, it's just that Guy Boucher was an idiot and Claesson wasn't 6'7 like Ben Harpur.

I always think had they kept Hoffman and not made the E.Karlsson trade where would they be.

Absolutely.
Most teams want to have a couple superstars, but on the open trade market they cost a lot.
A team like the Jackets or other small market team like Nashville or Carolina need to really focus on the drafting, developing, signing the right team type players who will put team first and get value type team friendly contracts. If there are players that start to not fit that mold or want more than their value..., they trade them away...Ryan Murray, Josh Anderson, etc.
They don’t over-compete for the Erik Karlsson’s of the world when they already have a Burns, Braun, & Vlasic. SJ didn’t have a problem with their defense. But they just HAD to go out and trade for a Karlsson. It set them back about 3-5 years. Nyquist is such a good player. For $5M+, he is the type of skilled and compete player the Jackets hope to stack their lineup with.

You have Goodrow on the 4th line and he got you a 1st. It would be better if you kept that trade on. He was a lot more valuable to Tampa than SJ.

they would've been better off if they never traded for Karlsson, and Tavares decided to sign in SJS rather than TO

Trust me lol, we want to see him get a shot too. He's ready, there's no doubt. They gave him a QO when they had every reason to cut him lose, so I really hope this is the year he finally gets a shot. Otherwise, hopefully he ends up somewhere and kills it, no way SJS has to even give up that much probably

Marleau 3C
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jumbo_Shark19</b></div><div>The talent is still there. There is no questioning that. Health is going to be the key to their success. EK65 hasn't stayed healthy since he's been in SJ. Couture and Hertl injuries haven't helped out either, as the Sharks don't have the depth to recover from their top players getting injured.
I really like the Donato addition. Liked him since he was in Boston, and I think he just needs the ice time to be able to thrive. The Sharks provide a perfect opportunity for him.
Goaltending is the other big ??? Will Dubnyk be able to bounce back? I sure hope so. Will he push Jones to be better? I hope that happens as well.</div></div>
I think dubnyk more recent struggles are more to do with personal distractions than his ability. Hopefully his family is doing well and he can refocus in a contract year and provide to his capabilities. I’ve always been a big dubnyk fan

I think too many people right the sharks off. I still see a VERY talented team here that absolutely don’t want to see taken lightly. Burns is still a beast. Feel like we haven’t even seen karlsson get comfortable yet.
