Sure but Skinner is definitely top 6 there, and it would suit you better anyway

Savoie ain't being traded for ehlers.
Sabres have no reason to make that flyers trade and flyers don't have a reason either

Flyers retool
Hathaway might be fine for our 4th line, maybe the Sabres would have interest in that if it's reasonable. But the Laughton for crazy returns train has gone off the track. If you want the Sabres 11oa, konecny is about the only piece that returns that, and that's with an extension in place, which would be entirely up to him.

Cute. You wouldn’t get a 2nd rounder from Buffalo for those 2. 😆

Asking prices for trading down from 7th overall
I think you're way overvaluing the jumps for most of these teams. Past 5oa there's a bunch of players that could go 5-15..

Buffalo wouldn’t be doing that. Not worth it.

I'm not sure Buffalo is giving up enough for Goodrow. Would you consider throwing in Ostlund, Savoie, and Johnson to even that trade out a bit?

Cap Strapped
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JustAnotherHockeyFan</b></div><div>I’ll believe the Sabres get rid of Skinner when it actually happens- seems doubtful to me
Always liked Fiala, he’s an interesting idea
Would LA move him though?
And can the Sabres afford him moving forward if they don’t move Skinner ?</div></div>
Kings probably arent interested in moving him, he's literally our best offensive threat and we need to be building that up, not tearing it down.
Also probably wouldn't be making any moves for futures (U20, draft picks), would have to be a hockey trade if anything. But I don't see many players Sabres would be willing to let go.

Sabres Moves
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JustAnotherHockeyFan</b></div><div>Agreed, but will Tampa trade him? Seems unlikely
And he’ll be tough for us to fit moving forward as the Sabres need to pay Byram, Quinn & Peterka after next season
Even if they all get bridge deals (unlikely imo), it’s still tough to fit everyone</div></div>
All points taken.
That's why I was enamored with a trade for Ross Colton. A solid, bona fide 3C with three years left on his deal at $4M per. It may have been a possibility a month ago but with the Nichushkin situation, not so sure they'd trade Colton now.
As for those three youngins, right now I see Peterka as the one with a real shot at a long-term deal.

A Maybe that leans more toward no. You’d have to add to the Vancouver side of the offer. Jokiharju simply has more value.

I've seen this deal on a number of posts and no one seems to complain. hes a good depth piece. plays anywhere well

I can only really see the Sabres moving Krebs as part of a bigger package to get a top line player or a more established stay at home RD.

Blockbuster Trades
The only piece buffalo would want is Carlo. You traded away a #2 center, a second pair d that may end up as a first pair d, and an A prospect for a good second pair right d (who would be a great fit), it's just way too much. The Sabres may have interest in the other pieces for depth, but they would be for lesser pieces.

Not only do you screw BUF with the trade, you also proceed to overpay Bryson and Comrie by more than 1mil each. Unwise.

You're going to get a lot of angry sabres fans and rightfully too. this is a pretty crappy offer for byram (not that he would be available) AND you made buf add a second. lol
raddysh is nothing maybe a 4th liner. roos is worth nothing. he's a 25 year old ahler. only thing of actual value is the 1st and 2nd but wtf would the sabres trade byram for a late first and 2nd. not to mention you have them adding a second too. wow

STL Trade
Pens decline. Skinner's a fantastic sniper at his best and Pittsburgh could use a guy willing to shoot the puck, but taking on his contract for basically nothing still isn't in anyone's best interest. They could probably get a good forward for less money in free agency.
