3 way for dubois
Give it up... the ship has sailed. He is about to be a King and the last 12 months of Habs fans saying he's coming home to Montreal and wont sign anywhere else and Winnipeg has no leverage is over.
Unless Montreal comes in at the 11th hour with a deal involving Dach, it's simply not going to happen. That is the only thing the Jets would balk at at this point. They want current young NHL'ers, not futures and cap dumps. Even still, if it were me, I'm taking Vilardi and Iafallo over Dach and Dvorak.

I think he probably goes back to Europe for another year or maybe they bring him over to Junior to adapt to the north american ice and game. As for the pairing i would definitely have Hronek and Graves together. Hronek does best when he's got a defensively sound partner, a Graves would be great. No sure Quinn and Hronek are the best pairing long term as they both lean towards the offensive side.

As great as a get Reinbacher would be for the Canucks, he's just not NHL ready. 24-25 maybe 25-26 is more likely of a entry in to the league

Realistically you're also paying to rid yourself of Garlands contract too. Hronek cost 1st and 2nd and Pesce is arguably a better D Man than him.

I still think Winnipeg gets more. Friedman on the marek show saying they’re bidding wars. Gotta think it takes one of Byfield or Valardi to get it across the finish line.

In Yzerman we trust
Would probably cost Marco Kasper to pry Connor away from Winnipeg. If they're trading him it means its a full gut job. Zadina and Kubalik just isn't enough. Kubalik 27 is older than Connor while a decent player is a middle 6 at best. Zadina forsure needs a change of scenery but that can't be the centre piece coming back. He's never had more than 24 points in parts of 5 seasons in Detroit and last year was sent down to the AHL. So essentially you're left with draft picks and relying on 2 crap shoots in the first round that may be in the 20's if Detroit gets better, for a guy who is arguably a Top 10 Goal Scorer in the league it's not enough. I know im biased as a Jets fan, but there needs to be something tangible for the Jets to get excited about.
Kasper, Kubalik, 1st and Conditional 2nd would probably be the minimum for them to consider it.

Jets Offseason Dubois Compromise
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Howie</b></div><div>Jets still would just be kicking the can down the road in this case and trade him in the 3rd year</div></div>
True but atleast it keeps them somewhat competitive and they have the option of blowing it up at next years deadline with Scheifele on an expiring deal and Dubois too with 2 more years signed. Can fetch a couple 1sts and set off a rebuild then. But for now it allows them to go in to next with the intention to compete and kicks the can as you say to atleast the deadline to see where they're at. And if they're in it they'll have a good amount to re sign scheifele with the cap going up $5M the year after and Dillon's hit coming off the books.

Kings Get Arizona Duo

Take out Byfield and Clarke on value. Take out Petersen so the ignorant won't whine about "that horrible contract" which actually doesn't affect Los Angeles. Add Alex Turcotte and Jaret-Anderson Dolan on value plus Sean Walker to make the math work, and make the 2023 pick our second.</div></div>
Let’s be honest here, it’s gonna be one of Clarke or Byfield going the other way. The other stuff is debatable, but one of those are going to Arizona. Armstrong doesn’t wait this long to trade him for nothing short of a substantial haul back when someone finally offered up what he was looking for.

alright, then removing Patches and putting him on LTIR. I still think Boeser and Burroughs, a scoring winger and depth D man for a playoff push for a 2nd is good value.

Why would it be dumb? They're starting to contend now, Levi is probably 2-3 years away. You have a goalie who is in his prime and can get you in to the playoffs and gain experience while most players on their cheap deals and not making $7M+ like Cozens, Quinn, Power will surely be making in just a couple seasons. Sure its a risk with his injuries, but a dumb move, it is not.

All it is to prevent Carolina from using more LTIR. He's UFA after this season and can re sign him if they want.

The Canucks want C's and RHD back in a Horvat trade. A couple of Wingers, one of which that is a dump then UFA at the end of the season. So basically its Wahlstrom and a 1st for Horvat. The Canucks will get a better deal somewhere else.
