Thread: Landeskog
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>KingsLover</b></div><div>1. Seattle probably doesn't touch Parise's contract without another 1st or salary retention.

2. Its not a horrible deal for Couturier but I doubt Philly trades him, he seems like the successor of the "C" for the Flyers. He's honestly to me been their mvp for a while now.

3. With Kaprizov, Boldy, Greenway, Beckman (in a year or 2), Fiala, Foligno, Hartman &amp; Sturm the Wild have a lot of players who play LW or can play the left side, and every forward is a lefty which is weird. I feel like if anything the Wild should get a veteran top 6 scorer say like Phil Kessel who would be inexpensive (especially if the Yotes retain some salary) &amp; is on a 1 year deal. Landeskog is an excess good he helps for a season or 2 but then potential cap crunch comes. I don't see them signing anyone to a big contract unless a big money 1st line centre is available.</div></div>

1. Parise's total buyout salary is 6M and Seattle will have the cap space to manage the buyout cap hit. So it's basically, do they want to spend 6M to get a 1st and a 3rd. It might take more than that from the Wild, to be fair, but it's a thought.

2. I wanted to make it hard to say no. But yeah, you're probably right there.

3. Minnesota has had problems finding right hand forwards and with RNH signing a new contract, I don't know where they'll be coming from. I mainly just wanted to get Fiala some help with the biggest splash I could.

Kessel won't be coming here. He had a chance last year and he blocked the trade. So I think that ship has sailed unfortunately.
