Hanifin Necas
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>evelutions2</b></div><div>Canes pass. Freddie and Ullmark are about the same caliber of goalie, so that makes no sense to swap. And the rest won’t be enough for Necas. Canes would want a player who can immediately step in and be as good or be an upgrade on Necas. Boston only has 1 player of that sort, and I highly doubt they consider moving Pasta now.</div></div>
My thinking is that Carolina would move Necas in order to extend Guentzel and/or Skjei/Pesce, so this trade would only work if Carolina is taking back picks and prospects. As a Leafs fan, I can assure you that Carolina is not winning a cup with Andersen as your starter. Ullmark is a vastly more consistent (not to mention healthy) goaltender

Love it as a Leafs fan and props to you for providing some thoughtful reasoning. Having said that, it seems like Colorado committed heavily to Colton and won't sell him for pennies on the dollar

Genuinely curious about the pushback on the Robertson trade - he's 22 with a good pedigree scoring at 0.5ppg/20 goal pace this season with limited usage. His age fits the timeline for Chicago's rebuild and has the potential to emerge as a legit top-six scoring winger on a team with less depth than Toronto. Why is a late 2nd and a B prospect such an unreasonable return?

The Chicago trade seems overly complicated and a bit of a lateral move, but trades are pretty fair and creative overall. Nice job.

Nylander is on pace for 110+ points and the cap rise is going to have an inflationary effect on contracts so 10.5 would be a bargain IMO

Ullmark is younger than Fleury was and is also making less, so I think the Bruins can get back more for him than Vegas did for Fleury

If their 3 NHL experienced goaltenders can't get it done, they'll trade for a rental like they did last season. My money is on Kevin Lankinen from Nashville. Talbot has been fantastic so far for them this season, so they're content to ride what they have for now.
The long-term goaltender fix won't happen until next summer, at the earliest.</div></div>
This trade would be next offseason

Next Year
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Gofnut999</b></div><div>It makes zero sense for Boston.
Sending a goalie back is just lazy. They have the #2 goalie in AHL who would become the backup. Same age as Sway and UPL. Zero need for UPL and he’d be tough to get through waivers.
Any offer sheet that Swayman would consider signing and Boston would consider not matching would compensate at least a 1st and 3rd. Unless you are going to beat that or at least match that, there is no point in trying. This does not.
If Boston moves a goalie, it’s most likely Ullmark.
If it’s Swayman, there will be a 1st or a really good center prospect involved.</div></div>
What's the asking price on Ullmark? I'm assuming that Boston decides to move either him or Swayman this offseason
