Than<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>twf16</b></div><div>Only way I think PHI does it without one of these 3 included is if there's 2 1sts (mayyybe a 1st and 2nd) coming back or Avs are the only team G will waive his NMC for and it forces their hand.</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DavidNola985</b></div><div>Joe Sakic has said Bo Byram and Alex Newhook aren't on the table! Just stop with putting them in deals they aren't being traded!
Shane Bowers
Martin kaut
Tyson jost
JT Compher
Sampo Ranta
Sean Behrens
Those are the most likely prospects/roster players to be traded.

Justin Barron
O. Olausson
Drew Helleson
Are the next 3 guys that are unlikely to be moved for a rental but think it's possible 1 of them is moved... Olausson probably most unlikely to be moved of the 3.</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Xertalz</b></div><div>Colorado doesn't want to move Byram, and I wouldn't want him anyways.
Already took a chance on a guy with concussion issues, don't want to take that risk again</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MANX</b></div><div>The reality check for you or any of us fans is we are not the GM, and that is the only person (and ownership) that matters. I am not saying they will do this but I bet you its not off the table.</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Foppa21</b></div><div>Reality check for you. Toffoli, signed for another two years (term = more value), got what amounts to two late 2nds, a late 1st, and a fifth. Giroux is no doubt the better player, but he's a rental. Name the last time a top-5 draft pick two years into his career was traded for a rental at the deadline. Can you?

Yes, the Avs have been Stanley Cup favorites for the past two years, but news flash, wining the cup is pretty damn difficult. There are no guarantees. Injuries (1st year they were favorites) can derail a team, as can a lack of experience playing playoff hockey (Girard last year). There's every reason to go for it this year with the Avs, but that doesn't mean mortgaging your potential top-4 defenseman or your 2C of the future. So yes, they need to sacrifice a prospect or two, but it won't be either of Newhook or Byram. Full stop. Barron, Helleson, Olausson, or Behrens? They'll definitely look at it.</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MANX</b></div><div>Here's the reality check. Colorado has come into the playoffs the last 2 years as Stanley Cup Finalist, correct? Have they been there, answer NO! Do they want to be there and win, answer Yes! The question Joe has to ask himself is do I save a piece (Newhook, Byram, etc) and possibly not get there again or do I sacrifice and IF I win it was worth it? I dont follow COL every game is Giroux going to get them there or someone else only Joe can answer that and the fans will have to live with it.</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MANX</b></div><div>Done !</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Foppa21</b></div><div><a href="/users/LetsGoFlames" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">@LetsGoFlames</a> Byram and Newhook are not on the table. Joe laughs and hangs up at this.</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Dutchies</b></div><div>Usually I'd say a first for Giroux, but in this case I believe Philly would take it. Not sure COL would be willing to offer up Byram though.</div></div>

Thank God none of us were actual GM’s
