<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Mr_Gardoki</b></div><div>It's nutso sometimes. Admittedly it's easier for us to criticize than to create our own. Someone is always going to go nuts on the value you project in a trade, but at the very least I try to make sure it's financially feasible for the other team or I'm not sending something they have an abundance of. The Pens have five lefty dmen under contract, yet people here keep trading us more of them and if you point it out they'll just say, "well this guy is better than what you have, so they'll find a way to make it work" and I try to state that it doesn't matter, but they'll just make some whacky arguments.</div></div>

Debrusk had a bad year due to COVID, and is still 24, and I got people saying he has hit his Cap!
Again, the Flames got Johnny and Tkachuk, and then also have two solid 3LW, so idk why people think they are a target for Debrusk

Thats two examples with the same guy, but they are good examples nonetheless.

And yeah, I have made a couple of my own, and I literally said, I know that none of what I did is actually wrong (Like we are talking about now), but obvously people can disagree with me. But again because none of what I did is factually wrong, if they want to disagree, they gotta do is respectfully.

I have been called rude for respectfully disagreeing, I have had rude people on my posts being jerks even though its fully opinion kind of stuff, and I have been called names for calling out things that are factually wrong (like the stuff we are talking about), people just dont get it lol. Just take pride in knowing that you, like myself, do get it. We are of the few that understand right from wrong, and opinion from fact

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>yikes</b></div><div>I’d love to hear how he’s a desirable assets I’m all for discussion yet you say it like “we’re dumb” (you aren’t saying that directly) but because it’s “obvious” somehow.

Because of being a fan of hockey, not just my team, Debrusk isn’t an obvious valuable asset. A valuable asset would be Beecher (tho I dislike him, he does hold some up side dispute an unlucky 2020) or your first.</div></div>

Read the comment below

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Gofnut999</b></div><div>Fans and front offices have different views. Fans are short sighted, recency bias and sentimental thinkers. Front offices are none of that.

Debrusk and Beecher were both playing though injuries to start the year and both ended up getting Covid, which Beecher was shut down for.

Go luck at Debrusk’s career numbers and 82 game averages compared to Labanc. Debrusks are better and SJ fans think Labanc is worth a 1st +.

I would not swap Beecher 1 for 1 for any SJ prospect after Eklund. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Other teams can make better offer, every team always can, even the least talented. Will they is the bigger question. Most won’t be in position to make an offer which makes it irrelevant if they can.

In the end they will get a few offers and take the best or the one that best suits them. The idea that any team does not have the ability/pieces to trade for anyone is laughable. Again…a fan thing. But fans aren’t rational.</div></div>

This is the point, and the fact that you are arguing with Gofnut, who is actually one of the few people on here that thinks and does their research, just goes to show why I so passionately defend Debrusk. People just don't think. im not a bruins fan, i dont care. Its just a matter of the people on here that are tryna call debrusk a "cap dump" and its stuff like that that just infuriates me and all of the other logical fans out there. People gotta start thinking
