Clearing bad contracts

Agreed on Gusev tho, dude's got no consistency</div></div>
Mrasek is ok for me because if a team is so good they won't need a higher end goalie. I think they could go back to Jones because he's been good this year, you get him for cheap, and improve on the rest of the team. Forget about Gusev tho

I don't get the point because you got Burns out but then you sign Mrasek and Gusev who combined make the same money. And you signed all your young players to one year deals so you are going to be in trouble next year anyway and the team still sucks.

Steals in the Fantasy draft 2021
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>littlejerryseinfeld</b></div><div>alot of these guys arent steals. ehlers, backstrom, hughes etc.</div></div>
They aren't necessarily steals but they are doing better than we thought. Ehlers has a point per game and we expected him to have a point every other game. We didn't expect Hughes to be the best defenseman so far in year 2 and Backstrom is a top 20 player right now when we expected him to be from rank 40-70 range. They may not be steals but they have exceeded expectations. I had a hard time figuring out what to name this.

Who would have you guys taken out then? If I were to have scratches, I was thinking of them both and they would both be there.

I think that is a horrible trade for NY. You give up Zibinajad who wasn't been that good this year but we know that he'll rebound, then add in DeAngelo who is in the same situation. And then you add in a 3rd. And They just got Dubois too.

Hey wassup. Welcome to Armchair Gm. This is a pretty addictive sight. Just a warning. I like the team but maybe you can get somebody cheaper than de Haan for 4.5 for somebody around 2 mil. Then you could upgrade your forwards. And next time, try to not use ELC's like Suzuki and Fox who are restricted and on that very small deal.

I think Seattle fans will be patient and let their GM build the team through the draft, which is better long term anyway.</div></div>
i doubt they'll protect Paul

Like the young team but you could have taken somebody better than Subban for 9 mil. Also, Tyler Johnson doesn't deserve 5 mil. But since you have so much cap space, its fine. Good job.

I don't get his. You re signed a lot of them and the ones who didn't go back to the same team, went to a team they had already played for.

I don't think MTL is last because Kokiniemi and Suzuki show promise but Romanov is a weak spot for me personally because I don't think he is as good as those two

You got a huge cap hit in Lauri Eriksson, Matheson is making too much money to be a scratch (what I mean is try and trade him), and try this in 2022-23 instead.

I can get onboard with the 90 thing but he isn't an 86 rn. 83 84 imo.

Buffalo next season
Forgot about Seattle, Hall is an overpay because he's not the NJ Devil that he used to be, Edler is old as dirt, and I don't think anyone wants the Skinner contract. I don't think that trade goes through because u retained barely any salary and the first round pick is late for the Captain of the Sharks and picks.
All jokes and trades aside, the team does look good. Just don't know if it will actually happen.

This is AT LEAST second round but if it were, it would be an upset cuz this team would be the higher seed.

Kakko will not turn into anything close to Dach or Hughes. I'm a Hawks fan and I watched all of their games last season and the Olympic games. And Hughes is good and will turn into the best of the 3 but Dahlin has a way higher ceiling in my opinion. I can admit I don't watch many Devils games but I do watch some and he looks pretty good. But for me, he's no Dahlin.

I'm sorry but I don't think Hughes will get up there. You can tell if someone has potential and he does have it but not 1st overall pick potential. I don't think any of the top 3 picks in the 2019 draft will be higher than an 88 in NHL21.

Guentzel should be here for Hughes easily. He's not there yet. DeBrincat isn't on first line on this team. Swap him with Johnny Hockey. McAvoy would play in this scenario. Also, there is a better goalie out there than a backup in Demko. Also, swap Paccioretty for Hayes.
