Muzzin dealt resign boosh sign kampf 20 howden and lank
Howden is expected to re-sign in Vegas, and if he leaves he's not taking 900k.
Although that would be hilarious if you think he's a good option for 3C...

How would you have any idea that NYI would be on his 12 team No Trade?
And are you confusing him with Boychuk? Martinez came back 100% healthy last season.

You're right though. It would make more sense for Pittsburgh to retain 2m and trade him for a 3rd.

Not with that attitude.
Zucker made Seravalli's buyout candidates so let me dream.

Aside from how ridiculous this would be, that's a gigantic overpayment and I like Radulov a lot.
Between Marchessault & Radulov they'd spend half the game killing off slashing penalties.

Ideally you'd want Morozov making up for lost playing time in Henderson. Dorofeyev is probably NHL ready next year IMO.

honey nut cap crunch
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Lenny7</b></div><div>I could be wrong, but I believe you're incorrect. A player becomes a 10.2 (c) RFA if they don't meet the following requirements:
Group 2 Restricted Free Agent Requirements
First SPC Signing Age Professional experience required
18-21 3
22-23 2
24+ 1
Hague is 23 and is in his 4th professional season. Again, I could be absolutely wrong, but my understanding is that 10.2(C) typically applies to players who end up burning a year off of their ELC's by coming out of college and signing to finish the season (ie. Hughes, McAvoy).
If I'm wong, I apologize!</div></div>
Does that make him a group 2?

Eichel and Martinez off LTIR
Dadonov still has a 10 team NTC so he's likely going to a decent team with a lot of cap space.
I'm not sure how much cap Vegas actually needs to clear. Last I saw they'd be around 7-8m over the cap with everyone off LTIR. Dadonov + Carrier clears just over 3m of their remaining cap.

Hague is coming off his ELC, which should make him a 10.2c RFA and ineligible for an offer sheet.

BTW Dadonov has as many points as Couturier, and almost as many points as their 3rd leading scorer Konecny.
I think a better question would be why would they refuse him?

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hammerwise</b></div><div>PHI wont want those two and probably wont have cap space.
Kane, even as a huge risky UFA, will want (and get) more than 1.1mil.
I think your base 750k offer to the RFAs wont work, and will get more than that, (most of those guys make more than that now, and will gets the obligatory 15% uplifts) to the point where you won;t have 1.1mil for Kane and 600k in cap space.
Overall, its a pretty weak bottom 6 forwards and no 7th defenseman, even with giving away dandanov and brossoit (who will have to be moved this year, as eichel will return prior to deadline, even the NHL acknowledged this).
Another move will have to be made</div></div>
They've gone below qualifying offers before, and certainly players like Leschyshyn would rather earn that 750k playing in the NHL all year rather than getting waived. None of their surplus forwards are really worth 800-900k.
For guys like Miromanov & Dugan their cap hit isn't as important as they don't have to pass through waivers so they can be qualified no problem. Miromanov is the 7th defenseman, recalled on game days from Henderson.
As for your comment that Roy-Karlsson-Kane makes for a weak bottom 6...er...agree to disagree lol.

I hate to bring it up but half the players in the league you covet have at least partial NTCs. You have to assume any veteran top 6 player that has one is a non-starter.
Staal was an exception due to his poor judgment.
