My top 3 right now are Carolina NYR Dallas. Rangers will be a tough out if Zibenejad gets going.
Tampa looks scary though

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ARMCHAIRGMOFTHEYEAR</b></div><div>They might depending on how desperate they are for money, idk if I really expect them to tho. They have sometime before he turns 26 and his buyout goes from a 1/3 cost to a 2/3 cost. I personally think they should wait. If KK can be the player he was last year, and at the start of this year his contract isn't a bad one with where the cap is headed.</div></div>
If they can re-sign a couple of their pending UFAs with that buyout savings they prettymuch have to do it IMO.
I hope the Pittsburgh Washington game goes to OT and they both make the playoffs. Give me NYR-Was and Car-Pens please.

Because Keefe put Reaves out there in the last 2 minutes (which almost cost them the 2 points).
He made a b-line to Bennett at the end of the game.
The first 2 periods were a ****show from Florida. I think Nashville stole their mojo.

Assuming his production stays the same for the rest of the year, teams like the Capitals Bruins and CBJ might offer him a 7mx3 deal.

I think Seattle would have been the best spot for Karlsson, and it was the only team that made sense IMO.

As they have some nice pieces on that team but are missing others. ROR has been good but they could really use a 1c to push him into the 2c spot. Another nice RD would do to</div></div>
They're in the same boat NYR was a few years ago. Nobody wanted to leave, and it's still an attractive destination for UFAs.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>aadoyle</b></div><div>Hedman actually signed a pretty fair deal for the time as this was before the year everyone decided im worth 9m
2016 was a different time as by then most expensive Dman who was a weird outlier was Subban at 9m. Everyone else was in the mid to high 7m range (Byfugelin = 7.6m, Ekblad 7.5m)
TBL taxes also apply. And no Hedman signed at a higher cap % at the time
Hedman when he signed = 10.79 and Sergechev = 10.3
Its all about timing and total cap.
But in the end Sergechev making more was a bit questionable</div></div>
My bad on Hedman's cap %, but less than 11% for arguably the top dman in the league at the time was pretty decent. Sergachev was probably worth around 9% of the cap but Nurse and Jones messed up the market (which Hronek might do now).
