I believe he does yes, Dillon has been pretty solid all season.
I'd rather keep him myself but he's a guy that'd be a candidate to be moved since the Jets have so many young LHD, I'd rather trade DeMelo but suggesting that is just crazy talk apparently.. lol

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BatVader</b></div><div>Jets will give you Harkins + NYR ‘22 1st for Konecny</div></div>
It would have to be bit more than that for me. To me I don't see Harkins being anything else than a bottom 6 player in Philly and the NYR 1st is most likely going to be a late one.

Only analytics needed in the eyes of Chuck Fletcher are games played, hits, ice-time and the simple question of: is this guy good? No? Sign him

CBJ declines, they'd much rather have Laine and the picks then Couturier and the dead body of Ryan Ellis

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MGabes19</b></div><div>Is St. Ivany really an NHL-caliber player? I figured Attard would be much more likely to hold his own.</div></div>
Attard has a higher offensive ceiling for sure. St. Ivany is more likely to be a steady NHL defenseman though. Ceiling of a #2 pair defenseman but more likely a 3rd pair, which is okay. Good teams have to be able to develop their own depth defensemen.

No I get it, I'm just really sad about the Risto trade, they always give us hope only to disappoint us. This is the spirit of this organization.

I don't think Antsan is right. However, assuming he is and this is the plan for Tarasenko, Doug Armstrong should be fired the next day.

After Expansion deals
I think if you're expecting the Coyotes to take on Gostisbehere's contract AND trade Crouse, you'd need to send back some futures they can actually use. Rubtsov is useless, and the 3rd isn't much better.

Why not pay the extra 500k-1m and get Dougie instead of Barrie? He's way better than Barrie and you're almost in that territory.

I feel like that's a really good package for Buffalo that would be really hard to say no to. Honestly though is it worth giving up all those assets for Eichel when you lose so much cap space and a top line forward in the deal?

Vegas already has a center like Couturier in Karlsson. They’re more likely to go after Eichel themselves.</div></div>
Woah woah woah...pump your brakes! Coots and Karlsson are NOT the same! VGK will have to move around a lot of salary to be able to afford Eichel.

Trading up at draft
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MGabes19</b></div><div>If I remember correctly, there is a significant drop off after 7-8. So I see your point in that 13 is worth a lot less than 5-7.</div></div>
Yeah I personally think the first identifiable tier ends at pick 8 (in no particular order Power, Beniers, Hughes, Clarke, Eklund, Guenther, Johnson, Edvinsson would be my top 8), maybe 9 if you include Wallstedt. Then you get into the guys like McTavish/Lysell/Lucius who should all be gone by 12, and 13 is kinda the start of where it opens up more, you could go with guys like Raty, Sillinger, Lambos, Chibrikov, Cossa, there’s really no consensus and it wouldn’t be surprising to see any of those guys fall 5-10 picks further back either. That’ll hurt if you’re trying to trade up into the really good top 8 tier.

An Attempt - PHI
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MGabes19</b></div><div>I def don't think Flyers have to sweeten pot for SEA. They can expose JVR, Jake, Ghost, Hagg and NAK. I think we would be fine with any one of them leaving. Don't need to add anything in order to protect any of those players.</div></div>
To get the cap space for Marner, they need to guarantee JVR (or Voracek) gets selected. He could be their choice regardless -- but at the same time, with a flat cap for the near future, SEA could choose to be pretty brutal to teams looking to find some cap space.

I think that your premise is faulty. Columbus doesn't need center depth; they need a top- center.

Trading up at draft
After a little bit of quick research the only time in the salary cap era where the 5th OA pick was traded at the draft was in 2008. The Trade was 5th OA for 7th OA, 68th OA and a 2nd in 2009. That’s 2 spots for a 2nd and a 3rd. You’ll need to come to the table with more for Columbus to move back 8 spots.

Columbus needs that pick! If they can get their hands on one of Kent Johnson, or Matthew Beniers, they have to keep it. They don’t have a good prospect pool.
