I mean the cap is going up and karlsson is still good just an unfortunate year for the team. Bad coaching. This is about a -1 million change for EDM with the cap

Yes definitely. It's annoying I've been wanting him gone since 2018 playoffs. He doesn't make the best decisions.
PS I'll never forget the reirden blank strategy plans for powerplays

What if its a second or first or both instead of a 3rd. I mean graves is still a decent defensive defenseman.

I dont mind this. I expect the worst though in the offseason based on how this season went. No trades since we've first shown signs or areas of struggling at the beginning of the season. No coaching changes. :help

Why are these actually good and probably so much better than what dubas will probably do. Norris should be paid a lot less though. Like at least half of that.

Well realistically the team cant carry that many players either so they'd be fine cap wise. It's just trying to show depth maybe or who should be scratched.

Ill admit it could definitely take another sweetener but there's no bad players going the other way. Jarry is great and joseph can definitely turn into something, he's shown he's one of the fastest skaters in the league too. Along with high picks.
Minnesota on the other hand, it could be argued fluery is the lowest of value in this deal due to contract and performance.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>bwhsocal</b></div><div>is AZ is doing that there needs to be a sweetner</div></div>
Yea maybe it's just I'm not sure how little he's valued. His cap hits are always really low and he's never traded for much
Past trades:
Traded from Arizona Coyotes with Nick Ritchie to Calgary Flames for Brett Ritchie and Connor Mackey
Traded from Detroit Red Wings to Los Angeles Kings for round 7 pick in the 2022 draft
Contracts:
2.3 million
1.7 million
1.2 million
1.1 million
In my opinion though, I think he's severely underrated by the league. Could easily get more in trades and contracts, even his highest contract could've been double based on similar defenders like marcus pettersson.

I mean i guess, he hasnt been terrible. He's been good especially if you look at his stats or the eye test. But the consistent impending really bad game happens like within the next 5 starts of a good start. Personally, I think crosby has been the best part of this season.

Still have a winning record
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Nighthawk</b></div><div>Hog isn’t on the block especially for an AHLer</div></div>
If p.o. joseph was in that trade then, do you think it moves the needle. He's really fast and has logged top 10 speed marks in the entire NHL. Offensive d like him, will butcher and ty smith are the same archetype and for whatever reason sully doesnt like playing the last two but plays joseph, but anyway...pens have letang and karlsson so they don't really need a third fast offensive d. They need more defensive d in my opinion. Joseph isn't going to get valuable ice time and/ or deployment with those 2 either. We basically should be trading all 3.
Also im both a pens fan and canucks fan. Although, I'd prefer Canucks not to move hoglander or kuzmenko, they are both on the block. Tocchet likes gritty big players not small skilled ones which I think is fine with the current roster for now cause we have a good mix but tip the balance too far and Canucks lose too much skill.
Most important to note here too is that hoglander really only provides good eye test results for now cause of his limited role in the middle 6 or bottom 6. He's on a great deal. There's no way we get a fair return for him.
It will be similar to trading luke schenn last year. He's good and on a great deal and they only got a third because of his role. Its not even worth trading players like that. Schenn and hog should('ve) stay(ed).
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>remowilliams</b></div><div>Canucks counter with Myers for Crosby.Come on be real.</div></div>

Although the value you're giving is light, it's not miles away in what Hogs is probably worth at this point in his career. However the return isn't what the Canucks would need this season.</div></div>

I think he could. These deals are what we should hope to get at minimum for him. At the same time though, they shouldn't get rid of him.

They shouldn't even sell him. They're still contending and just two spots out of a playoff spot with games in hand . They have a winning record. Still 50 games left too.

It's ok Pittsburgh shouldnt want to do that trade either. Zohorna is better defensively and production is similar and zohorna has a way better contract and Pittsburgh is paying a hogher pick on top.

Schenn doesn't suck. Great defensively and great physically. poj and ruhwedel arent good enough. Honestly we dont need poj, aka another offensive dman if hes not getting enough pp time he wont become anything special. Which is what's happening so far. We already have two future HOF d in letang and karlsson and we're win now. Ruhwedel is good enough for last pair or 7th d. Ideally 7th d on a cup level team.

Crazy</div></div>
Not like Anaheim is competing. Goalies don't have good value so don't expect something amazing. Gibson is somewhat better than Jarry, jarrys still good. The reason pens do this is to shed cap which is why there's retention. Carters ok but 3 million makes all the difference with competing teams so fans complain
