Nylander looks timid at times, nonexistent at times; can't figure out why he can't play at 100% of his abilities for the majority of the game. Cat - Dach -Sikura is worth a shot. Pretty sure the teams are allowed 13 forwards and 7 d men so rotate Sikura and Caggs. Carlsson has looked really impressive, pretty sure Maatta is done after this postseason as a Hawk given Carlsson is $3M cheaper.</div></div>
I think that's only for exhibition games

That way they keep the cap under control and are able to spend money or trade value on a top LHD. The other option of course is to draft Sanderson but I honestly don't think he'll be available at 9 or 10.</div></div>
Idk there's always one suprising move at the draft

I don't think we need more wingers, and not even to mention another sniper, I think we take the Goalie or steal another LD prospect from Montreal in Sanderson.

Hopefully in the 3rd we can see some PP action, to see if the Hawks fix it, But i wish to see the Debrincat- Dach- Sikura, I think that line could do well. I think Keokkeok and Carlson deserve a playoff spot, but I think Carlson will get it

We could resign Strome if you didn't sign Koivu and if we traded Shaw. But I'd trade Strome for a LD

The only way I would consider trading him if is we draft one of Lundell/Rossi/Perfetti. Even if we do get one of those guys, I would still hold Strome through this season and re evaltuate either at the TDL or over next off season. Most contenders and 3 centers deep. Toews-Dach-Strome is a very good center core.</div></div>
yea but the hawks get a LD to replace Keith in a few years, which makes our d-core look pretty good. If the hawks were to get AA the center core still looks solid, and Dach will be an established #2 center

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jack_</b></div><div>Seabrook hasnt been good for a long time, fixing his shoulder wont magically turn one of the worst defensemen in the nhl into even a league average defensemen. Keith isnt a top pairing defensemen anymore. theyve got a few prospects but they are a ways away from becoming a good defensive team. last season they were one of the worst defensive teams but were held up by fantastic goaltending. losing Lehner and Crawford would be a disaster, especially if they were to replace them with Holtby.</div></div>
The Lehner Trade was a disaster, Crawford health is getting the better of him and I could see him retiring. Holtby would be an upgrade over Crawford in my opinion. I'm not saying Seabrook will return to his old self, I think he'll do better then last season. He said he was shruggling with his shoulder for a while now and after the surgery he's said it's been the best in years and during training camp he's played good and looked to be better then last season and the year before.

Kurashev has gotten rave reviews by a lot of people, I think he could be in this lineup in a year or 2. Along with that, I know, pump the brakes on Suter a little bit, but I think part of the agreement of getting him here was kind of insuring he would get his chance to prove himself in the top 9, and just tossing him on the 4th line for like 8 minutes per night doesnt send a great message to other EU FAs that we potentially look to sign</div></div>
you think then Hagel and a 3rd or Hagel and a 2nd

I would argue that Shaw is more integral to our success than De Hann.</div></div>
de Haan could be a key player if he's healthy next year, if healthy could be the second best defensemen on our team.
Shaw was a key player in the past, but him injured with a serious injury, I doubt that he'll return to what he was before.

A fully heathly de Haan and if Seabrook plays as well as he did in training camp, and Boqvist and Carlsson taking a step foward as an NHLers. Keith guiding Mitchell as a defender. The Blackhawks defense will do good. Not even to mention one of the best Pk team this year

Mittlestadt has never put up good number in the NHL, and his AHL stats are decent

No way Montreal does this and we don't need Fleury. Gilbert will be a good 7th D for us and Sikura may potential play good for us.
Jimmy Howard isn't worth that much and we have Delia as a backup or in this situation lindgren

Why would we do that? de Haan is a stud when healthy, Maata has been good Defensively last year. If you want Maata is available for a 3rd or 4th rd pick. If you add a 1st, and we'll think about it
