Buffalo needs defensively sound d man that can help guys like Dahlin focus more on their offensive game.</div></div> You and I may be the only Leaf and Sabre fans on ACGM who actually understand this.
I completely agree with you about Muzzin, he has regressed to the point where he is one of the worse Leaf defensemen only Dermott is worse.
Reilly, Brodie and Liljegren are by far the best Leaf defensemen.
Thanks for your comment, Holl and Miller swap is a good deal certainly for Buffalo.
If Miller can get healthy then it is a great deal for the Leafs.
As I said considering everything this is a fair deal.

No. Both because of NTC and the fact he is still good. People are far too quick to call him washed. Sandin will slowly take his mins until his contract runs out and that'll be it

Yeah holl had a rough one. He is a fine player but myzzin isn't able to do some of the things that made his life easier anymore so he needs a bit of a reduction in comp and time.
Anyway if it ends up being:
Mo-TJ
Muzz-Timmoth
Sandin-Holl
Mitz
I'm fine with it going into playoffs. Would be nice for a small upgrade for 1.5 years tho until Lily is able to take it full time

Correct:
Sandin Holl 2:31
Muzzin Liljegren 2:29
And absolutely keep those together. Holl Muzzin pair should be over

An idea Ive seen on ACGM
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MauriceArthur15</b></div><div>Arizona will need to hit the cap floor next season. I think outside Keller and Chychurun no else is signed beyond next season from that roster</div></div>
An exaggeration, but one with a lot of truth in it. They have Keller, Schmaltz and Andrew Ladd (!) at forward, plus RFAs Crouse, Fischer and Hayton, plus Chychrun, Gostisbehere, Timmins and the probably promotable Soderstrom on defense. No one else currently in the system looks like NHL quality next year (with the possible exception of Guenther), so the trade of any roster person almost requires the Coyotes to get two roster players back.

Fair trade, good job. You could even dump Ritchie in that deal (without giving up a 3rd), maybe. But the 1st should be this year's.

Pretty solid offer. Pretty sire Toronto has arpund 1M in TDL cap space so you probably dont need to dump Ritchie to make it fit

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MauriceArthur15</b></div><div>Understandable but I want Hagel what do I need to add for the deal to go through.
Ritchie and Holl are there for salary cap constraints. Honestly we can easily move Holl to get assets for this trade if that is preferred and make it a 3 team trade</div></div>
Yeah, Ritchie and Holl are cap dumps as far as the Hawks are concerned as they have young players on ELCs they will play over those guys. I don't see the Hawks moving Hagel. You don't rebuild and trade guys under 25 years old who are having breakout seasons. Picks are always a crap shoot so don't see that making sense for Hagel.

We're arguing two bottom pairing dmen. If you think Holl would all of a sudden make this huge change on a team like BUF you're sadly mistaken. Holl's numbers are drastically affected by being surrounded by so many quality players. He's a passenger, not a driver.

Even they’re NZ trap 1-1-3 literally makes it hard for teams to get set up with how passive the system is. Teams are forced to dump it in and they make 2-3 quick passes and they back in the other teams zone.</div></div>
I think overall this is a very non-controversial trade and the fact this is being argued to this extent is silly lol

Again I might be biased here but like I said before he reminds me of a Coleman type of player that can play big mins and shutdown plus score against other teams top lines like we’ve seen from Tampas 3rd line or Pittsburgh 3rd line in their back 2 back cups</div></div>
Rust is awesome and I think that's a fair comparison, but I think he's a better all around player than Coleman. Over the last three seasons(including this one) 123 games played, Rust put up 107 points, 51 being goals. He's going to get seriously paid, so I don't even know that TOR would be able to afford him. My fear is someone is going to throw $6.5/$7M at him.

What is letting Headman be Headman is Jan Rutta, we need a Jan Rutta.

Not only is Hagel really darn good but he is on an extremely cap friendly contract for two more seasons after the current one. He is WAAAAYYYY too valuable for that offer. I'd start with Matthews and add from there... That last part was a joke. lol
