Unless it's Pavelski, Kings shouldn't be acquiring anymore former Sharks.
I want Dumoulin for that 3LD spot. Trade Durzi and pick for Hart or Vejmelka with retention.

Los Angeles Kings signed Vladislav Gavrikov (2 Years / $5,875,000 AAV)
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Nathaniel</b></div><div>Going to be tough to get Korpisalo and Vilardi signed. Interested to see what LAK has up their sleeve.
Gavrikov is very good tough, and I'm glad LA kept him around. Obviously it seems very rich and the term is short, but I think it's still a decent signing depending on how they navigate the summer</div></div>
We should be fine after we trade Durzi and Grundstrom.

LA still in on Saros
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AK50</b></div><div>Why would the Preds give up a Vezina-quality goalie when we're planning on competing?</div></div>
I'm not the OP trading for him. I wouldn't trade for Saros because the price would be too steep and I don't think Nashville will trade him any time soon.

LA still in on Saros
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AK50</b></div><div>Interest garnered. Maybe more quality.
Vilardi, Durzi, Andersson, '24 1st would likely be a fair price(ideally a goalie coming back though, but Vilardi would fill our needs more).</div></div>
Why would the Kings give up Vilardi for a goalie?..

Ullmark/Grizz for Durzi/Iafallo might work.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>bliker</b></div><div>Yeah I could see that counteroffer as pretty fair. Maybe involve a 3rd team to retain some cap for a pick.</div></div>
Swayman and Grizz are overrated and Kings don't need to trade Arvy or Iafallo anymore. Kings decline. I don't see the two teams being trade partners this year.

Why wouldn't he? But doesn't matter, Kings already have a bad contact in Petersen.

Doesn't matter, it's not fair value. Petersen has a very cheap buyout. Only issue, is the first years cap hit is 3M+ which is why they are looking to trade him. After year 1, his buyout cap hit is barely over 1M.
I wouldn't give up more than a 2nd and a 3rd, and I doubt the Kings would either.

Lol Petersen's contact is bad, but LA doesn't need to give up a 1st to get rid of him.

I think Edmondson at 50% retained for a 4th is fair. Edmondson is a serviceable 3rd pair LD that most playoff teams would be interested in.

Small moves
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GM69</b></div><div>Not sure Turcotte will get an established LD without another significant piece added. Jones has put up more points (and points per game) than Turcotte has and Jones is a defenseman. Both are roughly the same age.
If Turcotte is traded in a one for trade, it will be more similar to the Cody Glass for Nolan Patrick trade-- a struggling prospect for a struggling prospect</div></div>
That's what I meant, Kings would do Turcotte + for an established LD.
