Because he might not have those problems anymore. Everyone deserves a second chance as well

Maybe ahaha, but he did 78 points two years ago. He has problems and Montreal might not be the best city for him.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Matt1567</b></div><div>idk, I really like Daniel Sprong as a potential 2nd/3rd line winger. He's also a UFA and only 27 y/o, and over the past 2 seasons has been scoring at a 55 point pace playing a depth role in Detroit and Seattle, I think he's worth a shot, give him a contract similar to what we gave Toffoli/Hoffman and I think we could do it</div></div>
I’m just afraid of giving bad contracts since we do that a lot and we’re kinda stuck with Anderson and Gallagher

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Matt1567</b></div><div>the cap hit is way too high, not that Montreal can't afford him but there's no reason to spend money if we don't have to. Kuzy's got some awful advanced stats, and there's been rumors of personality issues in the past, don't need him rubbing off on the young guys if the rumors are true. I wouldn't take him for free, but if we send a contract back (Gallagher/Anderson/Dvorak) then I wouldn't be mad. And he's old, I don't think he'll ever be the player he was a few years ago, but I wouldn't be shocked if he became a good 2nd line scorer on a new team</div></div>
True, I hope we go for David Perron as a ufa. He’s low risk and has experience.

But man in hindsight that was a horrible trade</div></div>
Definitely a bad trade! I just think Evans is just better and that we'll play Dvorak as our 4th center. So why not take a chance with a guy with potential

You might be right, but I value the opinions of specialists more than anyone here and Julien Brisebois liked him a lot. Might not be that bad

It’s more because he was born there that I’ve made the coyotes pick him. He’s probably gonna get picked by the hawks or the sharks

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jpsnow13</b></div><div>Correcting me Bourque isn't the AHL top scorer, because he dropped 2nd, isn't "chill" dude. It's kind of a dick move.
And then here you go, moving the goal post again. You made a trade proposal with Savard, and then move on to other defensemen.... Who BTW aren't worth Bourque anyway.
Not gonna happen until you offer Ghule because Stars are contenders who need depth right now, which Bourque provides already btw.
And it isn't gonna happen neither. Case closed, Great talk. Bye.</div></div>
Look I’m not going to be a douche about it, but the description says that it’s the fondation of a trade. I wanted to talk about it and you don’t want too. Sorry for correcting you, I just thought that your argument was that he was untouchable because he was first in scoring. He was, he’s not anymore. I know that because I look at AHL games sometimes and I watched the last game where Stankoven had a point. I personally think that Xhekaj for Bourque could be an interesting trade, but hey what do I know. I’m just a regular fan of an awful team ahaha. Sorry for being a dick. Don’t take it too personally it’s not that serious. Big love hope you have a wonderful rest of your day! And sorry for my english it’s not my first language.

Realistic trade deadline Boring wont be a lot of comments
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Billy316</b></div><div>Literally every insider disagree's . .
Trade Deadline is Supply vs Demand
Teams people thought would Sell who have Centers
They are still 4-6 points out of a Wildcard spot and buying now.
Its supply vs Demand and we have Supply
Its like this every TDL. I mean was Pleakanec worth a 2nd and 2 prospects in his career worst year? Nope
We still got it and turned that deal into Lane Hutson in the long run
Was Hanzal worth a 1st, 2nd and 3rd round pick coming off LTIR at the TDL just to return to it 2 months later? Nope
The **** about Supply vs Demand when a playoff race is close is sometimes you over pay for a Tomas Tatar just to Bench him so PIT cant have him for their push.
Gm's go to War at the TDL and how they do defines the next 12 months for them in many's eyes as the fall out from it is huge.
Bergavin chose not to add so many times wasting the career of Carey Price. So he's been passed over for many GM jobs since as he's not trusted to compete or even rebuild anymore
Too many bad TDL's screwed him for years to come despite all the good trades the bad signings and lack of added depth on his runs proved he didnt have what it takes.
That said Hughes doesnt have the same issues with make the big trades and getting the maximum return
I mean he got a 1st for Ben Chairot because he knew how the market worked. He had the Supply and held out
He got a great return for doing so that was far more then anyone on this site would admit he was worth before the Trade was made.</div></div>
Fair enough! I still don’t think it would happen, but I never thought we would get a first for Chiarot. I hope you’re right.
Is there another player you would like from the Avs?

He’s more of a plan B or C for avs no doubt. But Lindholm is way too pricey for the avs

Thats what a 2026 2nd is to us at this point
Meyers is insult to injury, couldnt even pick a drafted player just an undrafted bum we got enough of</div></div>
I mean we won’t get a first for him. We won’t get an amazing prospect as well so why not get a guy that could become a solid fourth liner
