With Kadri Suspended
Your lines are good except that I worry about Marleau in the middle. On the other hand, I would think that it makes more sense to switch Marleau and Bozak on the power play lines. I also don't think it is wise to put a forward at the point on both shifts. I would put Gardiner or Dermott where Kapanen is if it was my choice. Especially because Dermott can get it up the ice so quick. For the penalty kill, I would switch Plekanec and Komarov because the Komarov-Hyman line is awesome! Go Leafs Go!

I would not be surprised. I just added the guys that I thought deserved a chance to play for Canada. Any idea who could be there instead?

Huh? Why not just trade the entire team? It is also a bit of an underpayment. It would be cool to see this happen though...

Oops. I am sorry, I was extremely stupid. Did I break any other than the 10 CHL? I just want to know just how stupid I am...
The salary showed as being higher when I did it... I must have made a change and screwed up even more.

Please feel free to share your thoughts. However, remember that this is all for fun and that the signings are at VERY approximate salaries.

Wow! When was the last 7 player deal?... The premise is good but have fun getting Tampa to do that. I like the Calgary trade if it is fair!

What If?
I think that your ideas are pretty good. My concern is that the trades might be a bit bold for the other teams, namely Minnie. I would say that you actually overpaid for Miller and that keeping Byron should be a goal. I think that this lineup is possible except that Perron will be a tough guy to sign.

Next Season!
That is one great offense! I do like the addition of Stajan, even though I think that he is looking to stay in Western Canada, especially after all of the stuff with his family... I actually do not mind the defense because any one of the three bottom guys could have a good season out of the blue. My only suggestions are that I would like to see a trade or two to bolster the defense and that there seem to be some rookies missing (namely Comtois).

Wow, this crazy yo.
I think that your ideas are not bad, even if they are very risky! I would say that Leddy is a bit too much in the NYI trade, but that the premise of trading those guys for two 1st round picks and a good d-man is good.
My two concerns are that I think Bouchard goes before the 9th pick and that Chicago may not win the lottery (they have the 4th or 5th best odds...). The other thing is, isn't that a high salary cap? That's a lot of money to spend with all of these risks.

Sedin's Last Year???
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dcc94</b></div><div>A team that needs scorers who has a lot of young D-men</div></div>
Yes... but Fleury could be one of the best of those young d-men. Also, Raanta instead of Mason? I know that he has had problems in Winnipeg but I think that he is better than Raanta. Also, they have Hutchinson in the minors, plus Comrie. I also agree that the Sedins might not want to leave Vancouver, especially now. That said, I do think that Winnipeg might be he team that they would be willing to go to in Canada because it is nearby but not a divisional rival. Overall, this is pretty good but I am a little bit unsure if that is enough money for the Sedins to leave Vancouver and not go to Europe.

The problem is that Arizona's organization doesn't get enough fans to pay for that sandwich....and the beer would be warm. Oh, and the signings are mostly good, as are the line combinations. I just realized...where is Abdelkader?

Five Price's trade possibilities
None of them are quite where they need to be but the St. Louis one might have a slim chance if you take out Kostin and switch one of the picks to a round later. I think STL and EDM are the only ones of those that he would want to go to. However, I like the sorts of things you are suggesting as returns because Montreal does need some of those things.

This is pretty good. I would say that RNH should be there, and will probably want to because he has shown how much he loves to play for his country. As for the lines, Skinner has to be at least on the second line Think of that line: Skinner, Barzal and Eberle! I would like to see Barzal and maybe RNH (if he was on the team) to play on the PK too. Meanwhile, those powerplay lines are perfect! I would also say that Matheson has been good enough to play on the top line. As for goalies, what about Bobby Luo or Crawford? If there was a 4.5 star option, I would have chosen it.

Speed and Depth for PLAYOFFS
I am not sure how I feel about trading Strome for Gudas, who spends a lot of time in the box, especially when Edmonton is not exactly the best on the penalty kill. Also, why trade away their top two picks in the draft, while paying Kovalchuk 6 million per year. The trades are more than fair but I don't see why either team wants what they are getting in a lot of them.
