Will Butcher every opponent if Weber sherwood is nearby .
Will Butcher has potential, but if you think he's going to come in and be a 1st pairing guy, you have another thing coming.

Who wants pacioretty?(make your offer)
I don't need him on the Rangers, but i'll offer Nick Leddy, Josh Ho-Sang, and Kieffer Bellows for Pacioretty and a 3rd from the Islanders.

Bennett
Hudon + 1st (2018) might get the ball rolling on something, but it'd probably have to have a couple more pieces moving each way to get something done.
Bennett was a 4th overall pick, is 2 years younger, and has way more NHL experience. Hudon has great AHL numbers and has 6 good games in a MTL sweater.
Could see this working for CGY:
Gallagher + Hudon
for
Bennett + Brouwer ($1M retained)

As much as i don't like Bennett, i think he'll be pretty good. He would probably cost Juulsen+.

I agree that Bennett would need more than Hudon and a late-round #2. No question. Gallagher for Bennett would be reasonable. Hudon for Brouwer would be smart for the win-now Habs assuming he can be afforded under the cap. If the Habs sign Streit and maybe Markov, they're very deep at D. They could afford to give a Dman in place of Hudon, which might even be Calgary's preference.

I would do Gallagher straight up for RNH.... Juulsen is our best prospect at D so...

Good trade imo. I really like Juulsen so I think it's a significant piece to give up, and one that will be very useful for the oilers soon, and Lindgren could be an interesting option for them in the future. 2nd rounder adds value and Plek can be useful for them in a shutdown role for one season. Trade accomplishes their goal of saving cap space after this season as well... I like it, good trade for both teams I think, well done!

Perfect off season, realisticly
These moves are simple and elegant, but I suspect Strome is too slow for Montreal's up-tempo style. Gally and JDLR + a pick together could net something more (Lindholm or Zacha)

?..but forget Emelin buy him out and just resign Markov for a year. You got plenty of cap. Also I think Plakanec and Davidson is enough for Vegas. Apparently theyre interested in Plakanec cause he can fetch a nice return on TDL. Will be perfect as a 3rd C on a contender

Best Possible Move by Bergevin
This is my favorite Armchair-GM so far. The trades may not go through and even though I also want the Canadiens to draft Makar the possibilities are near impossible with the 25th overall pick.

Best Possible Move by Bergevin
I assume you personnaly know Calle Makar for putting him here before being drafted... ;)
They, Strome and Makar, sure are talented, but Montreal Canadiens are not the Edmonton Oilers putting five teenagers on their top six.
Trading someone like Galchenyuk without bringing stability with a minimum of 200 games in NHL as a forward or a defenseman make no sense.
Actually i don't think the rumors that tells Galchenyuk is on the market beacause of the addition of Joe Drouin.
They surely both are good match on a line-up and if Bergevin put him on discussions it will be to add a solid top 4 defenseman of maximum 25 yo that already made is proof.
Anyway it's a good try and as a critic, i did not put in front my idea like you did, so i congrats you for the work made.

Current proposition on Twitter
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Larkinisking</b></div><div>So it's Duchene+#4 overall pick to Montreal for Juulsen+#25th overall pick+Galchenyuk+Lindgren how is this even close to being fair for the Avalanche. Sakic said Sergachev or nothing for Duchene doubt this cuts it.</div></div>
Other than replacing Lindgren with McNiven, I don't think Colorado is going to see a better offer in terms of players than Galchenyuk -- who is right up there with MacKinnon in terms of early career success (despite what the Montreal haters say -- yes, he's not Sidney Crosby, but look at his stats and remember they came on a team coached by an idiot) -- and Juulsen (Team Canada). Swap in McNiven if Colorado wants a goalie prospect.
For those thinking there's gold in the draft crop this year, after the top 2 picks, almost every scout says this year's draft is a crap shoot.
