If you're comparing Ylonen to Barkov or Laine you're hilarious.

Ylonen hasn't played any hockey in North America and doesn't stand out in Finland. He's Never been close to a point per game even in Finlands second league. Most he'll ever be is a top 9 and that's pushing it.

Mark Stone who was traded for and extended is your barometer of a trade. The precedent is out there</div></div>
Never said it was a sign-and-trade. If hall choses to resign then that's a bonus.

And you arent going to get Hall as a rental for a package that is arguable less than what the Rangers got for Hayes last year, who was a pure rental</div></div>
Thats why there's a conditional first if he resigns. Hall for three firsts basically.

Hall
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>EzioUchiha</b></div><div>Mark Stone was involved in a sign-and-trade. There was an agreement in principle that Stone would sign on March 1st. He didn't sigh right away because March 1st was the day that made Stone eligible to an 8 years contract. Then again, I'm sure Ray Shero would want to maximize the Hall trade return so it would most like be a sign-and-trade so expect at least an "Erik Brannstrom" type of prospect as a starting point.</div></div>
All I'm saying is Ylonen isn't enough for Hall

For hall as a rental give up a future top pairing guy? Never gonna happen. no one will give up A guy like Bowen for someone who might only play 20-30 games for your franchise.

Hall Trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>KCarry74</b></div><div>it's not enough. NJD will look for at least :
-1st pick
-prospect
-condition if hall resign
and i think theyll ask for a depth player too.
I think an offer would look like :
2020 1st pick
Bowers/Kaut/Timmins (any of them)
conditional 1st if Hall re signs
Nichushkin/Greer/something like that
Look at Duchene trade</div></div>
Kaut has a way higher ceiling than Abramov. Sure they can throw in someone who will never play an NHL game if you want. As well Colorado could go first this year second next year with the same conditions

If another team offers more Colorado has more to offer. They could throw Shane Bowers or Conor Timmons in this trade as well.

McDavid is McDavid, he can play with anyone. Obviously he's better with Draisaitl, but he's still McDavid. Why not have Draisaitl and Nugent-Hopkins together on the second line to make it more formidable?
Nygard - McDavid - Neal
Nugent-Hopkins - Draisaitl - Jurco
Or something similar.</div></div>
Leon is a pigeon, only works playing with McDavid

A Couple Trades

Halak would be a nice option if fraciouz doesn't work out but all i've heard is good things about him, should be able to hold his own as a back up.</div></div>
Is Groub strong enough to be a starter tho? I think if he split he would find more success.

Yeah Fair, I was basing this off around the trade deadline is Bryam and Franciouz didn't work out. Halak had a great season last year and wouldn't have to give a lot up for him. Plus they could try and resign Tanev as well, Need some experience on the blue line.

Look at Marner's contract for example. It may seem high now but he's signed for 6 years. Which means as cap goes up his cap % will get better and better for Toronto every year

Awful Contract, With the new Tv deal and betting agreement salary cap is going to blow up! when all the RFAs on bridge deals run out in three years they're going to want big bucks.
