Severson, Chiarot shouldn't be on there.
Bob, Panarin, Gaudreau, Lee, Jones should be on, just to name a few.</div></div>
Panarin is only 5th in league in PPG since signing his contract. Definitely terrible

Roy is gone. If Talbot falters I’m not sure they can go with the good team, cheap goalie approach for another year.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dgibb10</b></div><div>Goalies are unpredictable. The truly elite ones don't hit the market no. The prices, the vasys, the igors, the guys who you can TRUST to be elite year in year out.
Ullmark isn't that guy. His value isn't sky high because, while he's been great, there is simply the significant risk that you end up with a 5 million dollar pumpkin. Just look at all the ugly goalie contracts out there from that very thing. Goalies are risky
Goaltending is valuable, but goalies aren't. That's just the way of the NHL</div></div>
As the post says above. Goalies are easy to get.
Signed every team with bad goaltending.
Fun fact. Most of the league is unpredictable. Look at all the bad player contacts. The league is littered with players who were left for dead in one place and played great in another.
No team is giving away a good player regardless of position for nothing.
Again, Boston signed him because they wanted him and will keep him before giving him away.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dgibb10</b></div><div>5 million dollar backup is an expensive luxury. Boston is lacking at probably the most expensive asset in hockey, center, and moving ullmark would give them a lot more flexibility to find a true 1 or even 2C to replace bergeron/krecji.
That is why people expect Ullmark to hit the market. Also don't act like bruins fans on this site weren't selling him for a 2nd and 3rd all offseason after that playoff performance</div></div>
And he’s still on the team. A bad goalie is 100% of your team. The only trade you can find is Kuemper because teams don’t give away top goalies.
If your last sentence is true then no one should be making trades for him since he has no value.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dgibb10</b></div><div>5 mill rental goalie probably doesn't go for much.
best comp is Kuemper who came with retention
late 1st, 3rd that was conditional on a cup win, and a prospect. Without the retention you probably just get a 1st, with it 1st 3rd and sweetener prospect (which can go to a 3rd party retaining team if you don't want to pay it)</div></div>
Has Ullmark asked for a trade? Has Boston been shopping him? He has no value but fans of teams who’s goalie suck post trades everyday for him like Boston is obligated to trade him.
They will just keep him and Sway

(VAN/CHI) - Beauvillier for 2024 5th (CGY/CHI)
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CSStrowbridge</b></div><div>I just checked and Chicago might not be able to put Hall on LTIR. If everyone on Chicago's IR went on LTIR, they would slip below the salary cap MINIMUM. They only have ~$53.5 million in on-ice cap hit and just under $8 million in dead cap space, putting them about $100,000 below the salary cap floor.
On a side note, they will be able to turn that salary cap room into at least one 1st round pick</div></div>
You have to spend to the cap to use LTIR

He plays 16 minutes a night and is on pace for 20 points. He scored 40% of his points last year on the 5th worst PP in the league. He turns 26 in February so he can be a UFA after next year.
Why would you want him

lol. He was a cap dump last year. He’s a replacement level player on an awful team. You apparently don’t watch and see a team that gets caved every night.
The hawks got them because they are tanking. That’s what a tank is. Get a bunch of bad players and play them a lot.
Their PK was 22nd last year and 23rd this year and he played the most forward minutes on it. He isn’t a great penalty killer
