Preds
It would be great.
Even if Preds will add, let's say, 3rd or even 2nd round pick.

Jeannot is untouchable. He is the face of the Preds identity.
I think Preds can be IN for Miller, but with such package:
Fabbro+Kunin+Farrance+1st.
Kunin also is tough to play against, but need a change of scenario.

My prediction
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Pensman69</b></div><div>Pens decline, we aren’t in desperate need of a depth center</div></div>
Kunin isn't center. He is 3rd line hardworking forward (12th in NHL in hits), with a potential to play at the second line. Yes, he struggled last year (lack of scroing). But he is younger than Kapanen, and probably will be way better with elite center's like Crosby and Malkin.
I think it can be win-win trade for both sides.

Dubois Before the Draft
17th OA for 26th and 62nd isn't fair deal. Preds pass easly.
Look at the Detroit-Dallas trade from the previous year.
15tg OA for 23, 48 and 138. And this draft class wasn't really strong (except current one).
So here it should be 17th OA for 26th and 33th.

I agree that it is one of the weakest spot, but I think, that we will have a chance to find a better replacement later (probably at this draft). Fabbro and Carrier are still young and really not bad at all.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TooMalevolent</b></div><div>Why wouldn't leafs just move their 2nd in that case to get rid of mrazek? Buying out Myers already makes sense and not a single one of those players is worth the jump down.</div></div>
Of course they can still pay 3,8m$ for the next two season for a goaltender with huge injury history, and 88,8% save in 20 games. Effective usage of money for a "real" contender👍

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NHLfan10506</b></div><div>I believe Devils will try to trade their #37 pick. Does that get Kunin and Ingram?</div></div>
Don't think that it will be enough for both.
I know that Kunin has downgrade year, and his price isn't high, but I think he still worth 55 (+/-10) OA by himself.
And Ingram should cost late 3rd or high 4th round pick, IMO.

Probably Prokop will be an option for Canadians. He and Guhle are the dominant pair in WHL.
Campbell, Ufko, Farrance.... still enough nice prospects.
Also Preds have enough cap space to take on a bad contracts.
And of course Preds can trade their picks. Example 3rd + prospect = 2nd.

I think that extra 6,414,666$ next season + Ingram as backup(and potential starter) can worth it (that's how much they can save after this trade).

Honestly, a decent prospect or a 3rd rounder would be the best Seattle could hope for, imo.
Would you do Prokop for Donskoi? Forgive me, I don't know much about Nashville's depthchart. (?)</div></div>
Prokop maybe best or second best RHD prospect in Preds system right now. So, I think he will not be available in trade for Donskoi.
Here I would start with 4th and maybe B- lvl prospect.

I think that TB not in the situation, when they can dictate such conditions. 1st for Killorn is too much.
They need a cap space. So 2nd, in my opinion, is absolutely maximum that they can get here.
My offer would be 3rd + B-lvl prospect (like Cambel or Stasney, for example)

Probably (about Subban), but I think it can return that 2017th year vibes into the locker room.

Probably Nashville can offer 8,5m. But no more.
So any team should pay him 9,5+m. And I think it will kill this team. Insane contract.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>cartersNo1</b></div><div>1. It’s insane how long Poile has been GM. Correct me if I’m wrong, but he was the GM in the expansion in the mid NINETIES. And he has had some good trades too.
2. I would take that Edmonton trade. Kassian and the Nashville crowd would go beautifully together. And Barrie may just need a change of scenery.
3. Maybe it’s just because it was Colorado but i fell like they need a better backup than Ingram. If I’m wrong let me know I don’t really watch a lot of Nashville games.
4. Overall solid and believable. Good job.</div></div>
1. All right.
3. Ingram is very good, but need more experience in NHL. I think he will be good backup.
You can check the Milwaukee Admirals story of this season. He is insane. Like Saros. Just carry the team into the playoffs by himself.
4. Thanks!

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TampaBayLightning22</b></div><div>If Filip Forsberg wanted $8,000,000 x 8 years from Nashville he'd be resigned by now. On the open market he'll get closer to $9,500,000 x 7 years or possibly $10,000,000 x 7 years. Probably take closer to $9,000,000 x 8 years for Poile to sign him.</div></div>
Who can give him 9,5x7 year contract?
He is not key game changer, so he is not worth more than 9 millions. He should be an absolute elite winger like Kaprizov, Panarin, if he wants such money.
If someone wants to beat Nashville's 64m offer - good luck.
But I don't see such teams. Probably NJ...
He wants the cup, so Arizona will not be his choice))
