overpayed???? lmao im sorry but that better be a joke. He has been solid for a while and people havent noticed. He is truly worth approx 6-7 mill (actually 9 but you want to underpay underrated players) so this is very good dollar value.

Steal. Him and Makar can make a dangerous pair. This could make Graves Expendable down the line with Byram coming in soon. He is worth so much more Sakic is easily the best gm in the league

I agree with that. He needs to be faster however, he is strong enough to fight off checks with his strong lower body. I think the teams that passed on him except the Kings and maybe the Rangers will regret it in the long run

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>pharrow</b></div><div>name me 1 5'9 1C.</div></div>
bruh size doesn't matter. Rossi makes up with it for his above average speed, his skillset, his great all around game, and his very very very strong legs. However that doesn't answer your question so here it is: Brayden Point. Point is undersized as well and is a top 10 centre. However I think Rossi is more projectable as a winger compared to a centre rn bc of his size it ain't like he will grow either but if he can get even faster I think he can be a good 1C just like Point. However size is starting to not matter anymore in the NHL as a whole either so even if Rossi can't be a centre he would be a good winger like per say Marchand.

bruh so you would rather take an at best 2nd pair dman over a potential top 6/1st line forward. That is **** logic

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Club_de_Hockey_le_Canadien</b></div><div>Don't hate on Bergevin and his staff especially not when it comes to drafting. Sure Kotkaniemi was a reach at 3 in 2018 but he was the best center available. They've done very well at drafted players who fit the team mold while continuing to get nice steals. I'll admit I definitely had my doubts about Guhle but if the Canadiens chose to draft him at 16th knowing that another team would pick him if they traded down, other teams see something in him too. I don't think he was one of the worst picks of the 1st round by a good bit, Chinakhov, Mukhamadullin, Wiessblatt, and Grieg definitely go below him. The Canadiens saw in the playoffs this year that they can't rely 100% on Carey Price. Every Canadiens fan knows this. The only solution is to get defensively reliable defensemen. Weber and Chiarot were the only reliable defensemen and they had to play 20+ minutes a night. Getting a defenseman like Guhle fills a big whole despite what you may think.</div></div>
I get your point but looking into Chinakov I think he will be a stud. I think Guhle is a horrible pick. I think yes Guhle is a good defender but he is good at literally nothing else. If we wanted a dman why not get William Villenuve i the 3/4th round bc he can be great or even get Wallinder as those guys are reliable and have a high ceiling. I don't think we need Guhle considering the fact that we already have Mete, Fleury, Brook, Struble, Romanov, and Norlinder. I think we would have been better off upgrading our offence and then go for a dman next year bc next years draft is great with dman. However I agree we may need some extra dman but I just ain't a fan of Guhle's Ceiling and the way he plays.

well if thats the case I would take Mercer. Lapierre is too much risk, Schneider is a lot like Guhle in terms of ceiling (gauranteed NHLer at best 2nd pair.) This shows how stupid Bergevin and the scouts are. I don't know what they see in Guhle but I doubt he is ever gonna be worth it

bro are you stupid? Gunler, Reichel and Preeault can be top 6/1st line forwards but Guhle is a gauranteed NHLer who will be at best a 2nd pair dman. Gunler, Reichel and Pereault would maybe be reaches but why not trade down? Guhle shouldn't have been taken in the 1st round. He is scared of the puck and makes bad decisions with the puck, he is a liability offensively. The only good thing about him is his size which is madly overvalued and he is good at defence. Guhle was one of the worst picks in the 1st round.

unpopular opinion but for how low Guhle's ceiling is he shouldn't have even went in the 1st round.
