rask, markstrom, hellebuyck, bishop, varlamov, sorokin, bobrovsky, gibson want me to keep going? price in his last 5 years of hockey has been very inconsistent not to mention his injury issues, you have to do good in the regular season to make playoffs and quite frankly price hasnt been good in regular season since 2016-17 this is a bad deal for av's. his amazing playoff run wouldn't have happened if the divisions were normal canadians record had them like 5th in the atlantic and even though that doesn't sound awful the 4 teams ahead of them were still all on pace to have 14+ more wins then canadians. canadians were on pace for 35 wins while B's, leafs, tampa and florida all were on pace for 50 so in reality montreals whole run was just luck because we had to switch divisions. price is good but you can't have a goalie who only wants to try for 2 months out of the year. i believe av's best option is too look at acquiring varlamov again. varlamov was arguably the most important piece to Isle's run last season

and you said when it comes to Pearson. you dont get much more than him....JT compher who had an awful season last year still outproduced Pearson, he is a 3m player. Yeah its very easy to get a better player at 3m aav than Pearson. Donskoi another example. Kerfoot another example. Lowry another example

Regarding your question on the Kings trade, no that is not enough. Roy has been the Kings second best defenseman for the past 2 years, and that's not even taking into consideration that the other two normally rostered right-handed defenseman (Doughty and Walker) have been out for weeks with injury. Doughty is set to return soon, but Walker is out for the entire year. In a season that the Kings wanted to try to compete for a playoff spot, they're not going to hamstring their right side for a 2nd round pick.

I'd place his current value at a decent 1st round pick plus a mid-grade prospect, if you were to try to pry him away from LA. Not quite Jake Muzzin returns (1st round pick, NHL-ready prospect -Grundstrom-, and a mid-grade prospect -Durzi-), but not significantly less than that.

The irony that You’re talking about hockey IQ and trading for anderson who might have the worst hockey IQ among forwards in the NHL. He is the definition of an all tools no toolbox players and he’s had the impact of a 4th liner the past two seasons.

You honestly have no clue what the f*ck you are talking about. The numbers don’t lie and Wahlstroms 5v5 numbers are strong. He’s excellent defensively and a great finisher.
