DeBrincat to Nashville
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MLevy613</b></div><div>You are overvaluing Saros, here, by a lot.
It's a moot point, anyway. Nashville is not in the habit of spending huge money on wingers.</div></div>
The goalie market is at an all time high in terms of value. Saros is a top 3 goalie in the league. He gonna fetch a sh-t ton, and he doesn’t even need to be traded. It would really have to take an offer like that for it to even be considered

Preds have the picks and Preds have the cap space for DeBrincat and who wouldn't want to live in Nashville for the next 8 years?</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Minnachu</b></div><div>That's fine, what would you replace?</div></div>
If a Debrincat to Nashville deal happens, it may have Saros as a center piece. I’d be looking at a meaningful asset + Debrincat for Saros

You’re not getting Sissons. I don’t think he’s a guy that the Preds would move, especially when we have more than enough substance to get DeBrincat without including him

Just looking through my old ACGMs, and thought this might be a fun comment to reply to. How are you liking Kunin, even with his small sample size this year

I don’t think signing a bunch of questionable, long term UFA contracts is what the Preds need to be doing this summer

Don’t give Ottawa fans the idea that Boucher has actual value. He was reach even being picked in the 1st, and that is really showing through

Forsberg and offer sheet
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caniac2000</b></div><div>That Nashville trade is ugly... Necas outproduced Forsbery by almost 30 points. He's signed long term with an injury history and he'll be 29 by the time the season starts. That's an ugly deal.
Don't mind bad Aho for a 4th, although think the Isles would want more.#
Don't mind the offer sheet at all honestly.</div></div>
The contract points you made about Forsberg are valid, but the rest of that argument is insane.
Forsberg and Necas had near identical points per game, and this season is the only one where Necas was even been close to Forsberg in production. Forsberg is still the better player of the two. There’s no debate in that

Trading up
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>justaBoss</b></div><div>yea Höglander is interchangeable with a pick imo. Just thought Preds could give him a chance, since he seems a bit stuck in VAN system.</div></div>
The only other thing I would change is the Asplund signing. He doesn't seem to have much future with the team, and it does end up to Evangelista being kept out of the lineup. HE also looks like an absolute stud from his time in NSH this year, so I really want to keep him around

Bringing in Hoglander would force Tomasino to play out of position at 2LW. I'd rather look at an alternative with another pick or prospect in favor of him

Predators mega deal and Mantha
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Megalodon</b></div><div>Ferraro Gregor and Zett are all established NHL players that still have quality upside. There are no prospects here and you are essentially getting two first round picks because NJ is going to be a beast next year. Ferraro is a top 4 defender, Gregor is one of the fastest players in the league and could easily get 20 next year and Zett is a middle six tank.
I guess if you thought they were prospects in the first place you probably don’t know the kind of value on offer here.</div></div>
I have a hard time seeing Nashville accept any offer without a 2023 1st. Fabbro, the 2nd round pick, and the 3rd cancel out the value that the other pieces provide. It's just not enough

Price on Saros
If Nashville moves Saros, they see Askarov as the future. You probably need to add in some more quality pieces for this to even be considered (your 2023 1st would be a start)

What would McDonagh cost
I said this in an earlier post around the same subject, but I'd ask for the BOS 1st for McD (50% retention) and a 3rd this year. Nashville is a team that hates to retain though, so I have a hard time seeing a deal like that getting done

This GM is easy haha
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JSEB93</b></div><div>It looks like you're new - so take this as constructive criticism.
For UFAs - Jarry, Bertuzzi, and Gavirkov will make more. Good chance Severson does as well. But you probably have the cap space to cover that. However, you only have a 20 man roster. I would say you at least need 22.
Trades: Petry just requested a trade from MTL 2 seasons ago. There is no chance of him going back - nor does MTL want him. The NSH trade just isn't even close to enough value. But more importantly, if NSH actually wanted Jarry, they would just sign him and then trade Saros for a great return. Rust has an NMC - the odds of him waiving for OTT are probably slim to none. Even if he did - I don't think OTT accepts that.</div></div>
I saw this post, and I figured out what the guy was doing. I think he thought that this was like NHL franchise mode and that it had something that determined whether or not to make the trade lmao. It would make the title make more sense at least

I’m not so sure we have to bring in another middling, young RD and an incredibly injury prone Robertson. I don’t think it makes sense based on where this team’s at

Question for Predators fans
It probably would be a picks swap or smth. You get a 2023 late 2023 2nd or the SJS 3rd and McDonagh, while we move up and get Boston’s first. I don’t see a whole lot of guys here that the Preds would want, so I think something around picks is probably our best option.
