TB says thanks but seriously NO THANKS. thats a meh return for Cernak and he's as close to untouchable as TB has that doesn't have a NMC/NTC. Without a massive overpay Cernak stays put!!

Good, that means Miller won’t be going to Toronto. Do you leafs fans understand that acquiring a premium asset is going to cost a team premium assets? You don’t throw scraps around and get good playets

You’re not getting Miller with that poor offer. Relying on Dubnyk as your starter also guarantees that you don’t even make it to the first round

There’s no way Arizona does that. They’re way too far from contending, to justify giving up their future that way. It would be Brooklyn Nets trading for Paul Pierce+crew level of crazy for the Yotes
I don’t hate the idea of getting younger and Vancouver trading those assets, it’s just Arizona as a trade partner that doesn’t make sense for half of that return

I understand the idea you are going for here but no shot Arizona gives up 3 of the top 4 assets in this deal and they have to take on myers

What I would do
I seriously just don't think Kerfoot gets a 1st.
He had a 28 and a 23 pt season playing 3C, and once he got moved up to play top 6 with two 80 point players he went up to 50 pts.
Do you think he'll play that role with whatever team he gets traded to? I highly doubt it, so he'll likely drop back to 25-30 points over a full season as a third liner. Those do not get 1sts. And even if he was a 50 pt player, a one year rental middle 6 winger never gets a 1st.

The Canucks prospects literally are D-F prospects. Our top prospects are in the NHL right now (Hoglander, Podkolzin).
That being said, glad we agree that Leafs prospects are B prospects.

I like the moves overall; big fan of signing Nuke if the space is there. IMO they should just bury Poolman if they have that kind of cap space rather than paying draft capital to get rid of him.

Miller takes deal
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BubbleDemko</b></div><div>I think they are fair offers . I don't see Rutherford paying much more TBH. My own personal feeling is Miller will still be here next year until TDL and then traded for a first and third. I don't see teams going crazy this year with wild trade offers.
I just seen LeBrun speculating about a fit of Gaudreau with Seattle . I think you can see teams walking away from big contracts this year like Calgary Carolina Oilers Flyers Vegas Habs and others.</div></div>
To me, this Kadri money. JT has been consistently a better point producer the past few years and despite this season's huge offensive numbers across the league, JT wasn't an outlier year. I hope they can keep him near this dollar amount but I'm not confident.

Big Moves
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BubbleDemko</b></div><div>I like the idea of going after Roy but I think the offer has to be bigger. I think a lot of teams will look at getting him so I am even going to suggest going hard after him with an offer sheet of 4 mil per and a 5 year deal. I know it is pricey and long but you want to win the bid IMO.
I know after the Benning era everyone is skeptical of these types of moves.</div></div>
Thank you. If we move Roy, which id lean about 60% chance happening there will be a list of suitors. A 3rd a draft from now doesn’t do it for me for a guy going into his prime that can do multiple things. Someone will give AtLeast a 2nd imo, and probably this year.
