Playoffs push
What in the world would make you think that we would trade Troy Terry for a left-handed bottom-4 defenseman, of all things, and two futures?!?
You can't construct intelligent trade proposals by starting with what assets you think are comfortably expendable. The first step in any such construction is deciding what asset(s) you would like from a team (here, our top-6 RW), and the second step is to imagine what that team needs and would want in exchange for said asset(s). For Anaheim, that's a quality RW or RD at the minimum. So Terry for David Reinbacher and your 2025 second would be right on value, but we're not trading our best RW.

More likely, but still unlikely, is New Jersey exchanging firsts and adding something for Jordan Binnington, but that would depend upon his M-NTC.

Fantastic Off-season
Los Angeles isn't trading local boy and fan favorite Trevor Moore, who just keeps getting better. And the Chychrun ship sailed at the trade deadline. For next season, we have much more important cap priorities, like re-signing Matt Roy if possible and if not, getting winger help for poor Pierre-Luc DuBois and filling both goaltender vacancies. And even if the only Kings game you watched all season was last night's, you should know that Chychrun isn't the answer to whatever ails LA defensively.

full rebuild
We've been patient with Alex Turcotte this far . . . no reason to give up on him now in exchange for a 26-year-old fourth liner on a near-League-minimum contract and two dart throws.

A 26-year-old lame duck fourth liner on a near-League-minimum contract as the (only) current asset for a 23-year-old top-6 LW who could be under team control for anywhere from 4 to 10 more seasons?
Replace the draft picks with Coronato, Honzek, Zary and Andersson and Anaheim would consider.

Keeping Pace With Laine Rumors
Anaheim would have no interest in Poulin or Joseph, particularly the latter inasmuch as we have 5 NHL-qualified left-handed defensemen on the roster for next season already.

Anaheim isn't about to retain that much on Gibson, and Toronto certainly shouldn't be sending Joseph Woll back the other way.

Philadelphia Flyers signed Ivan Fedotov (2 Years / $3,250,000 AAV)
If this solves the Flyers' goaltending problem, then the amount is secondary. If this doesn't, then the amount is irrelevant.
I was the fourth vote for Yes.

Flyers 2024-25
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jded</b></div><div>I won’t lie, this one loses me a bit, haha. But heck that’s the fun of this, we all have different points of view</div></div>
Let me try a different way: right now we have four elite stars, and if things go our way in the draft, we would have five: Carlsson, Gauthier, McTavish, Zegras, and Celebrini/Levshunov. So if we trade Zegras for high-quality assets, the worst we would be if all of them strike out is back where we are today. But if we don't get one of the two jackpots in the draft, then we have four elite stars, and trading Zegras leaves us worse off than we are now if the trade return doesn't pan out. So that's why I would only trade Zegras if we land Celebrini or Levshunov with our own 2024 first.
To put it another way, I'd rather have Zegras than any two of Catton, Eiserman, Helenius and Lindstrom.

keeping ghost and kane well also making moves
Fabbri is a 28-year-old 0.5 PPG bottom-6 lame duck at a position where we have a surplus already, Husso is a barely adequate backup, Wallinder is a nice prospect but we have 5 NHL-qualified left-handed defensemen on next season's roster already, and that future second will be of little impact until 2027. It's actually hard to imagine who on our roster we would accept that package for, but it certainly isn't enough for John Gibson <strong>without</strong> 50% retention.
In general, you can't construct reasonably rational trades if your starting point is What spare parts can I afford to give up? and then looking around to see what you'd most like to have from another team, or vice versa. Here, this feels like you started out by asking yourself Who is the goaltender I'd most like to have? and then tried to throw as little value as possible at him.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jded</b></div><div>I don’t disagree, I was more not understanding why Levshunov getting drafted would make Zegras expendable. Lindstrom I get since he’d likely compete for top 6 LW</div></div>
Here's my thought process (and you may think that I'm completely cuckoo):
With the elite Levshunov in the fold, any further defense development can come in the general course (internally, through free agency, using later draft picks, etc.), and we could exchange Zegras for what we hope will be a couple of lesser-quality but still top-6 forwards (Beck/Mesar, Catton/Helenius/Lindstrom). But without a home run with our own pick, the risk of giving Zegras up and not getting equivalent value is simply too high.

Nope. I think that the only elite talent at the top of this draft pool is Celebrini (super-elite) and Levshunov and Buium (who's a LD but I'm told can play on the right). To me, kids like Lindstrom, Catton, Demidov and Helenius are high quality but have the same ceiling as Zegras. The first three are potential Trophy winners.

Offseason
Fabbri is a half-a-point-a-game lame duck and Berggren is not an A prospect -- his ceiling looks pretty much like a middle-6 complementary player. You'd have to offer Nate Danielson with your 2024 first to have a chance at persuading us to put Trevor Zegras on the market, which he isn't right now, and that's only if (1) we were to land Celebrini or Levshunov with our own first, and (2) someone we liked were still on the board at #15.
Your 2025 first is acceptable only if you're also giving us your 2024 second because the whole world (incl every Ducks fan) knows you're not trading Raymond or Seider, and no one else on your roster would interest us one-for-one even if we were to add significantly.

Pens 24-25
I'd rather spend Reilly Smith's $5 million cap hit on re-signing Blake Lizotte ($2.5), Carl Grundstrom ($1.5) and Alex Turcotte ($1). Even at half off, I'd rather re-sign Lizotte for multiple seasons than have Reilly Smith come into another unfamiliar team.
