Still a solid goalie prospect who could be the future goalie for the leafs

There are ways to improve the team without giving up your entire future. I agree with Dubas on this one, we have given up way too many picks and prospects over the last few years, and with Amirov's future in doubt its too risky to give away our biggest assets.</div></div>
It's just way too risky to have your job on the line because you don't want to give up your late first rounder and a nice prospect to make your defensive core, which is one of the team's main problems, better

This might be his last year as a GM in Toronto if we don't do anything in the playoffs this year... again. If he's going to be stubborn and not make the team better, then so be it, maybe he should be fired if he had the opportunity to make the team better but he chose to be stubborn. I just really hope Kyle knows what an "all in" year is.

Team is fixed
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jchafe77</b></div><div>Yes. Leaf fans can't deny that Phil was our best player during our worst years, and it was unfortunate that he played here during that time. If you were to take 2011-12 Phil Kessel and put him with the likes of Matthews, Marner, JT, and Nylander... your probably looking at a 100 pt season for the guy. But now, he's slower, he's getting quite older and I don't think Toronto feels the need to bring him back. We got a lot of scoring as of now, and adding somebody like Brandon Hagel would be better in the sense that Hagel plays similarly to Bunting... mean, agitative, hard nose, drive to the net style of player, and he pots quite a few goals by doing so. His speed is a bonus.
Toronto's main focus (IMO) will be to find a top 4 defender and a middle-six scoring winger. They will be looking for term more so than rentals to, as the Foligno trade last deadline has haunted Dubas, and thus they arent to keen on acquiring rentals for top prospects/picks</div></div>
I would agree with wanting Hagel, but, it will cost so much more than whatever the hell Vancouver fans want for Miller. I just cant see a scenario where we would want to go get a top 4 defender considering that the ones available are pretty solid

Whats Dvoraks value
Now I am a leafs fan but I am not blind.
Dvorak can definitely get the habs a first and maybe something else
With how the Canadiens are playing right now, Dvorak does not look too sexy but if he gets traded to a team with decent support then he will be great for them
4.45 for 4 more years will look pretty good when he gets paired up with the right people

Hes a fine player but taking a 1st and our best prospect maybe you throw in another prospect like abrusezze or something but I wouldn't go to kuch higher than that</div></div>
It's a pretty steep price but there are a couple things.
A very very decent player for 3 years at 1.5 and he will be an RFA at the end for it, steal
Also, I believe he is on Chicago's untouchables along with Kane, Toews and Jones (Seth)
I would love him in the blue and white but we would have to sell a lot of valuable pieces
