Elite Back End
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ModanoisCool</b></div><div>No it's not fair that
Wild aren't going to accept a d back in any trades for dumba
Wild aren't going to accept any winger, especially a low prospect winger who wouldn't play on wild
Let's be realistic. It's a bad faith proposal
Ask for dumba is a top 6c</div></div>
I wouldn't be to hasty on the no in this case. Brannstrom is a nice piece and a left hand shot, something Wild lack in the prospect pool. If he is expansion draft exempt then I say yes but if not then easy no from the Wild.

Why sign Gustafson? Also Boldy will be in NHL before you see Beckman. Lastly Parise is a 4th liner/ healthy scratch at this point.

Next Year
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Windjammer</b></div><div>No chance Winnipeg gives up that much for two years of Dumba. The Jets don't need an offensive RHD, they need a big, defensive RHD.</div></div>
I too think this is a optimistic return for Dumba at this point, given other GMs seem to know the pressure Guerin is under to move Dumba. Dumba can play physical, though I doubt he is what you are looking for in that aspect. He has been a good defender this year and from what I've seen, his defense has gotten better every year. I think he would be a great add for the Jets, just don't see Jets having to give up this much.
Would you think maybe a 1st an "A" level prospect (not your top prospect) and perhaps a small cap dump/ NHL replacement level player?

Trading easier players to deal
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Florida_Man_Maroon</b></div><div>Greenways stats seem very good. I’d like to get him back in a Cirelli deal. How good is Greenway defensively??</div></div>
He is part of the Wild shutdown line when it is healthy and up against top NHL lines. I would say both Ek and Foligno are better defensively but Greenway is reliable defensively.

Rebuild
I see the Coutuier trade has been debated already and let's just say that your valuation in this trade is roughly 3- 1st round picks in the mid to late 20s. I think the price is a bit high given his age but not totally unbelievable if going to a cup ready team. For the Wild he isn't a fit IMO, mostly because his age and what I think will be the Wild cup window just don't line up.

Why sign RNH? If Wild want another wing it's got to be for a guy with a right hand shot. I hate Ek as a 3rd liner Wild are killing him. He has produced when given the opportunity with linemates that have offensive ability.
Adding Nick Foligno, though he is a good player, doesn't give the Wild anything they don't already have. Sturm needs to play. Parise is with the Wild until he physically cannot play anymore, or gets tired of 4th line/ healthy scratch. I'm betting he trains hard this off-season and gives it one more year and retires or goes LTIR after that, but with the flat cap no one is jumping on the Parise train. I've loved watch Parise but everyone gets old and that sucks.

A 5th and a 7th for Vesey, didn't Canucks pick him up off waivers? I don't think Sharks would be interested in Vesey and I don't think they would pay this much if they were.

Precisely, and he's not. Not unless we're getting a Eichel or Barkov back as part of the trade. He's otherwise untouchable.</div></div>
Good I was trying to be nice since I recently got reported for hurting some leafs fans feelings. I mean I need to learn to always be nice because I don't know if the person I am responding is suffering from a learning disability, and that's not their fault.

Your new I see. Welcome to CapFriendly. Your trade is awful.
Eichel will return a minimum of 4- 1st round picks or the equivalent. Tony D has negative value and will be a offseason buyout.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>The_Rocket</b></div><div>Dumba is worth a 1st but not sure the wild will get that without taking something back. Dumba is owed 7.4 million next season and given the wild’s expansion draft outlook, I’m assuming teams will play hardball. Seen a lot of players last offseason go well below their market value and I’m thinking similar things will happen this year</div></div>
Wild probably will struggle to get full value, that I agree on, but in this market Guerin is probably better off letting Kraken take Dumba, rather than take a bad contract.

I really suck at following directions. I'll start with that.
1 you don't think Wild could get a 1st for Dumba?
2 Wild as a organization are not interested in playing hot potato with Tyler Myers. He is a traffic cone out there.

ADeA an elite offensive young RFA D who drives play

Reunanen top 10 in the AHL in points per game rn
Dumba isn't elite offensively or possession wise
Dumba a UFA-3
DerpAngelo isn't *that* much of a distraction and a low key market like Minnesota is perfect for him
Like seriously folks 🙄</div></div>
Most teams will shy away from a racist cancer. Guerin just fixed the locker room doubt he is looking to screw that up. The deal is actually more appealing if Rangers just keep DeAngelo. The additional depth defenseman isn't really a need either. Maybe make that a center prospect or someone with a right hand shot.

Yeah I just read in the Athletic that the Wild do have interest in Foligno at the right price. I assume they would see if he can still play center, but I don't personally think it's a great idea.

I've heard the rumors, but I'm not buying them. I can't see how adding another LW helps the Wild. I'm totally against adding Hall. I hope it's all just speculation because Guerin is talking to the Sabres about Reinhart or possibly laying ground work for a future Eichel trade.

If I rebuilt this team
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RC333</b></div><div>Tbh I'm a Canucks fan so his value kind of stumped me. I was originally thinking boldy and a pick. Would that work?</div></div>
So he isn't Eichel and the supposed ask for Eichel is the equivalent of 4 - 1sts. Based on that I think the ask is one of the Wild 1sts since both project to the mid 20s then either Boldy/Rossi/Addison and then probably one of either Firstov/Beckman/Khovanov IMO.
In reality I think Flames are more of a retool candidate. So I'm hoping any deal would include Dumba.

Hard to say what exactly Guerin is looking for I assume a under 27 center with middle to top 6 ability from a team willing to take back a expiring contract, he isn't going to find it. I don't think he is looking for replacement level guys. He has said he isn't interested in rentals. That's not to say they need term but must be worth re-signing. Of course GMs don't mind lying if it suits them.
