Cat and Konecny being central pieces is an interesting concept.

I think Konecny fits the type of player that OTT seems to be building around, and has upside.

Comes up for a contract at the same point as Chychrun and Giroux though, which could make things a bit hairy

Forsberg is YOUNGER than Rittich and has comparable stats and tenure.

This is WPG paying a 3rd to upgrade Samberg to Zub, AND get 2 years of cost certainty from a goalie they know in Forsberg.

Assuming the desire to make cap space for next year

Buying out Z at 2.8 -> 800k is a lot better than Myers at 5.3 -> 300k

I 100% completely agree. Dobson is legit the guy, and OTT would have to add to DeBrincat
