Everyone be wanting Brady but no one wants to give up anything for him
Brady wants out. It is so obvious. It is the same reason Matthew wanted out of Calgary. These Tkachuk boys want to make as much money as possible while playing for winners. The Canadian teams have high taxes which eats into their money. He wants a US market team with low taxes to keep more money.

The Sens would never include Korpisalo in a Tkachuk trade. So it’s a moot argument

I can’t see the Sens biting on Mercer + 1st + 2nd .

The Sens don’t trade Brady for that lmao. They don’t need to trade Brady for a downgrade . Without Nemec 0 chance they get Brady

Returning after the Rutherfords crazy TDL
Why would Ottawa give you a 2nd rounder for a guy masking $5M with less than 30 points and has term left on his deal? Vanvouver would have to be throwing in that 2nd rounder for Ottawa to even consider a move like that.

Midnight special
Nah, I'd pass as EDM. Better to keep Foegele and pay a 5th to a third team to retain 1.25mil on Tarasenko. Not entirely certain I'd give a 1st for Tarasenko, either, but it's within the realm of reason.

The Sens Are Not Trading Tkachuk - But If They Did
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>gumshoeismygod</b></div><div>I’m going to be dragged by Ottawa fans, but the Canes decline with ease. Jarvis is on pace for 65 points this year, is 2 years younger, and is a better 2-way player than Tkachuk. He fits the Canes system like a glove, and there is a 0% chance he gets traded for anything short of a bonafide superstar. And as much as Ottawa fans would want you to believe the opposite, Tkachuk is not that</div></div>
Nah youre gonna get dragged by Canes fans too. Tkachuk over Jarvis all day LMFAO

You're massively overrating Jarvis by a ton, homer.
Imagine thinking the difference in value between Tkachuk and Jarvis is a 2nd round pick ...

We don’t hear rumours cuz he pretty much came home to retire here with young children

Holtz has proven nothing yet. Pinto has proven he can score 20 goals. I’ll take the 2 way centre over the skilled winger. But in this scenario Holtz is the unproven one

I am not doing this if I am Ottawa. It would have to be Kubalik + Joseph. Make the pick a 3rd instead of a 2nd
Not trading Brannstrom to get cap compliant, I'm only trading Brann for a similar young rising 2-way forward
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Goorts</b></div><div>If I am Trotz, I think I do this. I think a 2nd is reasonable for Brannstrom, and Trenin / Kubalik is a bit of wash in my eyes.
Seems doable.</div></div>
A 2nd for Brannstrom is a steal (you can mark my words if you want)
Trenin is a good defensive forward but is UFA, like Kubalik, who has more value because there's a significant difference in production
Kubalik should be worth a 2nd, Trenin a 3rd

THEYRE READY FOR THE BIG STAGE
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Rob32sjsharks</b></div><div>That’s a lot to give up to move a slightly overpaid player isn’t it? Not sure is sharks accept but I wouldn’t say no.</div></div>
That's what I was thinking. The Sharks could decide to not do it for particular reasons but if you have cap space, you'd be stupid to decline a 3rd and a decent prospect. Thomson with PP time could easily be a 30 pts D-man. You'd just have to pair him with a good defensive LHD at ES so he doesn't cost you defensively
All that said, I'd much rather trade Kubalik (1 year left at 2.5 AAV) for an asset (2nd?) than pay anything to move Joseph
With Tarasenko signing, Sens don't really need Kubalik much anymore. Joseph actually fits the needs better (PK and ES defense)
But it's not like Dorion understands roster construction so he might just end squandering another asset (non existant asset management)
