Next Season
I gladly take the COL deal but swiftly decline the Caps deal. Kuzy is quite a disaster at defense and his offense has weirdly dropped since 18-19. Not worth giving up 2 of out best futures, a number 2 d-man and a 1st for Kuzy.

I honestly like Colorado and their chances in the next few years, but the circlejerk around them here kind of makes me want to see them crash and burn.

Flyers 2021-2022
I doubt the flyers bring back all the old guys (raffl, Elliot, gus). With guys like Zamula, York and possibly one of millman or wylie wyatt ready re-signing Gus or acquiring Carlo probably isn't as acute, especially given that they'll be a lot of good veteran options at RD (Hamonic, Savard, Risto, etc...) as UFAs or cheap in trade.
And while some of your RFA signings are about right IMO (Sanheim and Morin especially), theres no way Hart goes from his ELC to 7mil. Blackwood's deal in NJ is probably a good measurement tool, who got 4.75. I think Hart gets 4-5.5 for 2-4 years.
And I think if that offer from NJ is a tad light, a 3rd for a reliable 20-25 goal scorer, even one making 6mil is too light. I was in favour of a miles wood and a 3rd for JVR straight up.
Philly is fine against cap next year, but its the year after (Giroux, Couterier, frost, farabee, NAK, hagg are all up) that the flyers want to get ready for.

It'll be tight like most teams, but they'll be fine. ~8 million coming off the books with Laughton, Raffl, Gus, and Elliott leaving plus whoever Seattle takes. That'll be enough to resign Hart, Sanheim, and Patrick while filling the other holes with ELCs.

Kings Opening Lineup

There hasn't been an interview with TMac yet, but these are the lines shown in rushes this morning according to Zach Dooley, the Ontario/LA Insider. As tryger says, the 2nd/3rd lines are probably interchangeable, they're just the order that Dooley listed them in because Vilardi is assumed to be the 2C this year.

Yep. haha. But the lines are right, though the second and third lines are interchangeable.

Sabres Deadline Addition
That trade minus the 1st is more a now deal then the TDL...only way the Sabres make that deal is if they are in contention and if they are then that means Hutton has played well so no need for Rantaa.
Hammer has already stated he isn't leaving so though good in theory if he is intent on staying with the Coyotes he isn't going anywhere

Stralman
Right side of the Stars is pretty much crowded right now with Miro, Klingberg, Pysyk, Fedun and Honka. Johns is also a RD but he will probably be on the LTIR.
So the need is not there as well as the Cap space.

Making room for Juulsen
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>PinkWhitney</b></div><div>Let me tell you a secret, not every player gives up on their organization like people want them to. Eichel has cried to the media multiple times and he's still there. He wouldn't have signed the deal he did if he didn't want to be there long term.
Florida has Lundell, Tippett, Borgstrom, Heponiemi, Bajkov, Noel, etc coming up soon along with Huberdeau, Barkov, and Ekbkad. 2 of the top goalie prospects. My guess, they'll be looking up by the time he signs his next contract. This team will be very good within 3 years. People seem to forget how young Barkov, Huberdeau, and Ekblad are.</div></div>
I totally agree with that, but it doesn't change the fact that your team will at least try to compete this year and will not trade Stralman for draft picks (at least not before closer to the TDL).
Why would Duclair have signed if your plan was to trade NHL players to make room for AHL players?

This team looks very solid. Only interrogation is cap hit. Barkov will ask a lot more (Huberdeau too) and you will still have to pay Bobrovsky.

LA isn't trading a brand-new 2nd round pick for a 7th round goalie who looked good behind one of the best U20 Team Canada's ever assembled. That's gonna be a no.
