A little over his QO. Maybe get him to sign cheap for one year then pay him next off season. Donny's got a way with words!

Wasn't aware of his QO. So that's just a 1 year deal of 1.15 then becomes a RFA again next year?
If they did trade him, what's his value?

Kane Trades Bleacher Report
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>PuckLuck_77</b></div><div>Is that Edmonton deal missing a 1st or something? Seems so much cheaper than pretty much every other proposal.
As far as LA's, they aren't a Kane away from the Cup. They aren't going to give up 2 A- prospects and a 1st for half a year of Kane just for him to bolt again when the Kings can't offer him 6-8mil.</div></div>
BR didn't mention throwing in a pick for the Oilers. I guess they think JP just needs a change of scenery and he can produce at a high level and Broberg is top prospect. Not sure what BR's thought process was.
I agree about LA. I think BR just had to throw them in there for the sake of having the LA market in the talks.

Nope, I watch just about every game. I do also work for a living and have a life, unlike you.
And obviously you haven't watched the Bruins in the playoffs before and seen how injuries in/right before the playoffs has hurt us so having depth doesn't hurt. Those are depth guys who can produce more than Blidh and Foligno (at a much lower cost than Foligno too)

You’re not stating opinions just like me. My opinions are informed, and based on logic. Yours are based on preconceived notions, a lack of knowledge, and likely sadness. Do better. It’s not a crime to be happy.</div></div>
Oh I am a happy guy, thank you for your concerns about my well being!
Just hoping the Bruins can get the job done so that I'm not depressed in June.

Experiment, against my better judgment: name a move Sweeney should have made.</div></div>
Anything similar to Cogliano for a 2024 4th or Appleton for a 2023 4th round pick.
Both of those options are better than Blidh or Foligno. The Foligno signing alone should get Sweeney fired, nevermind the Forbort signing

You look at this offense and you see them as contenders? You wouldn't have at least tried to make other moves?

I understand we don't have great prospects to compete with other teams when it comes to trading for guys like Giroux or Rakell, but I just figured Sweeney extended Debrusk to trade him for a new piece that could mesh well with this team. Like the MoJo trade a few years ago. Wasn't a big splash but he productive!

Nothing you could have added today would have caught you up too Florida, Tampa or Carolina.</div></div>
So not making a trade to try to get better to compete with those teams in the right answer?

LOL, not at all. Read my replies above and you'll see that I said that I'm happy with the Lindholm move but we needed more scoring depth. We extended Debruk to move him then didn't move him..?

I said all along they would make 1 big move as that’s all they had the assets for unless it was stripped bare.
They got the best LD on the market. Extended him. Added a depth physical RD with size. Did not give away the future for rentals.
Signed Debrusk to get rid of the QO to make him easier to move in the off-season.
Did not cripple the cap next year.
Oh and dumped Moore.
Damn good deadline.
Yet Wendy Whiner here….🙄</div></div>
I agree with what you have said for the most part. Except I still can't figure out who is going to be productive outside of our first two lines (minus Haula). Any additional depth guys would have been better than another Goon at RD.
