Bruins Roster As of 717 Projected Opening Night
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jedihonesy</b></div><div>centre depth took a massive hit. Coyle at 1C, Zacha at 2C, Foligno at 3C, Trederic at 4C. They could use a JT Miller right now since Kadri would probably retire before playing in Boston</div></div>
You and my cohost mush share a mind. :-D He loves miller. I do not see the point putting Foligno above McLaughlin or Beecher or some other prospect. You need to develop the system now more than ever. Without legit #1 and #2 C's you aren't making the playoffs period with this roster.

The injuries... yes for sure. If those guys are out he'll be playing, if not they hardly need the cap space. It would not surprise me if one of the three injured players came back early.

No such thing as sure thing. Especially since it's probably going to require Sweeney to move multiple contracts. Zacha is also arbitration eligible which means he's offer sheet eligible and someone might just decide to screw with the Bruins.</div></div>

Kracken 0621
Without knowing who the teams end up protecting, it's hard to say who will be available. I tended to draft pretty conservatively, I doubt they get <em>both</em>, but due to cap reasons, I see Schenn as slightly more likely.

Eastern Bottom Feeder Team
Nothing serious against him... but my podcast cohost and I are doing comparative teams for the show. One of the reasons for the young guys is that I think all three source teams are crap, and if I were a real GM I'd rather develop the young guys. Which could include him... but I trust the Flyers to develop defensive defensemen the same way I do top 1/3rd of the NHL goalies.

Boston Bruins - PuckSage Directive
Krug was 21st in the NHL in scoring last year for defensemen. The Bruins paid about $77,000 per point for him. That's next to nothing, on a cost per point basis Trotman was more expensive. He's a UFA, and that is young, healthy, and surprising durable for a smaller guy.
As for blocked shots he had 94 on the year putting him ahead of guys like Phanuef who played a lot more PK time.
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Naterbruins</b></div><div><i>DirtyRebound, Krug is not worth 4.5 million a season at best 3 million. He is a defensive liability and cant block a shot for the life of him.</i></div></div>
