I see them putting it in a package with either Krug or Faulk so they don't have to eat salary. Not saying they get nothing in return, but I see it being used as a sweetener to maybe move down actually. Only person I really want that might be available at 16 is Adam Jiricek.
Faulk and 16th overall to Toronto for their 1st makes sense to me. They will want major changes once they get bounced this round imo

Blues pass easily. Marner only has one year left and the Blues will not be willing to give him the contract he thinks he deserves. Doesn't matter if you claim the extension is in place. Blues wouldn't give him more than Thomas.

retool, but they aim to make the playoffs next year. The have young prospects close with Dvorsky and Snuggerud. A Buch trade would need a return of a very good young guy that can either play in the top6 or top4 next year. I don't even see them making their pick at 16 this year.

Hate to break it to you but Walker, Torps, Sunny aren't part of the core. Also buchnevich won't be signed with both Thomas and Kyrou at 8mil. One has to go and since Buch is the oldest and has his contract up soon, he will be the odd guy out

Maybe we could trade him to Vegas when the time comes...</div></div>
I don't see Dean as a 2C, but they also have Stenberg at C

Very low chance any of those 1sts are below 20th overall.
Don’t know how to value Kakko. Very inconsistent so far. Wouldn’t put much value on Broberg/Holloway. Most likely bottom of the roster players.</div></div>
I disagree, I think Broberg and Holloway both have top6/4 potential

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>HShockey</b></div><div>Parayko's one of the worst contracts in the league, already 31 making 6.5 till the end of the decade. Great D-man, but pretty bad contract for the back half atleast. I'd take a 1st + Robertson for those two and start a rebuild/re-tool on the fly. But if I were the Blues, I'd consider holding out for a better offer IF possible (injuries and trade protection could affect that). Still a very solid defender and quite valuable for the Blues</div></div>
Only a Toronto fan would think 6.5 for a top pairing RD is a bad contract

Bro, Broberg is not that good. His value is like a 2nd currently. Your value is very underwhelming, especially considering you have retention for this year and next.
Foegele has never eclipsed 30 pts and has little to no value to the Blues
Lavioe is a mid prospect who is bordering on a career AHLer
You are getting a whole lot of mid for a guy the Blues don't even have to trade.
It's going to take a legit great offer to move Buchnevich. Timo Meier type of return

Again - Zegras ranks slightly higher on this website.</div></div>
1. Kyrou got injured before making it to the NHL which set him back
2. Kyrou has been good defensively this year, go look at the actual numbers
3. There is a reason Zegras was voted most overrated by the players
4. How would you know what most NHL scouts think?

Some Blues fans are so delusional on what Kyrou is. He is having a slight down year points wise but his defensive numbers has vastly improved this year to a point where he is no longer a liability out there. Now you want to trade him for Zegras?????? LOL Zegras is NOT GOOD!!!!!!!! He has a few highlight real plays a year and convinces everyone outside of Anaheim that he is some elite playmaker. Kyrou is the most dynamic player the Blues have had in a long time and it would be a mistake to trade him for anyone except an elite top line guy
