<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Rangsey</b></div><div>If every team has a crew looking at every entry to determine offsides the league should employ a team aswell. If there's an offside review that takes more than 30seconds the goal should stand.</div></div>
That would require advanced thinking and the old fossils running the NHL dont seem to want progression unless they really have to lul
Like there are so many advancements NHL be hesitant to do that would help the game

Due to all the foreign teams dropping out of the league, they changed the format this season. If I remember correctly, after the first round they mash the conferences together and re-seed from there. Something like that.

Better than tanking hard and then continuing to tank hard.
At least under that system, everyone is incentivized to win games down the stretch, and the only way to rig the draft order is to rig the games.

If the caps make the playoffs, they deserve it lol.
Their schedule is mean:
2 more hurricanes, 2 more leafs, and the rest: mostly contenders. The “non contenders” remaining are Buffalo who look kinda like one recently, and the senators.

It’s not a completely crazy thing to ask, no, but he’s definitely not having a better season than any of Hellebuyuk, Swayman, Bobrovsky or Demko

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Rangsey</b></div><div>Bar down asked the question. Whats more impressive, 70 goals or 100 assists.</div></div>
100 assists means 100 goals were scored by your team.
Scoring 100 goals is better than scoring 70 goals.
So, the answer to your question is 100 assists.

If Tampa negotiated an extension with Hanifin <em><strong>without</strong></em> Calgary's blessing...that is tampering, ask league to investigate, TBL would likely be penalized.
If Tampa negotiated an extension with Hanifin <em><strong>with</strong></em> Calgary's blessing....CGY should stop complaining about it harming the Hanifin market.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Rangsey</b></div><div>Can someone educate me on who Cutter Gauthier is? I feel like I don't know enough about him, it seems like a clear Philly win.</div></div>
He is former top-5 draft pick now in his second season at Boston College, where is a top-10 player in NCAA. He probably a top-20 prospect over all NHL pipelines and maybe as high as Top-6 or 7 among those not yet appeared in NHL games. Offensive center with some size. Skates well….but not a burner. Smart player, can play both ends of ice. While he is big, he is not a traditional power forward….more of a bigger skilled center. Good shot. Plays well in interior. He is coming of a Gold Medal performance the IIHF World Junior tournament, where he was the leading scoring and one of real stand-one prospects.
I guess after going to World Championship in May 2023, he returned and said he did not want to sign with Philly (he grew up a Pens fan). The Flyers tried to move him at 2023 draft for a top-5 pick, but we’re unsuccessful.

It's constantly amazing me how bad Stamkos looks like he's playing on the eye test, but he's still at a point per game. Imagine what would be going on if he actually looked like he was playing well.
