They have a huge prospect pool and these guys are not really the top. I think Danny had high interest in Barron, but I could see him going for Beck and maybe even Reinbacher, but that last one is a lot more of a long shot

Probably what he gets on open market
He put up good numbers on a team with some of the worst D in the league while all their best 2-way guys have been injured.
He would definitely get that and deserves it

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>PHEN</b></div><div>I agree Sabres would have to add more but not that much. Maybe a 3rd in 2024
2nd 2023 1st 2024 and Rosen for Koneckny
Joki UPL and 2024 3rd for Hart
Hart has proven nothing and could be good but UPL could be better then Hart. Both 2nd rd picks. Joki was a 1st rd pick and has lot of upside.
I don’t think it is horrendous but Sabres may have to add a mid pick or another prospect</div></div>
If this is the best offer for Hart, Philly holds him until free agency and waits for him to sign a deal in the 8-8.5 range and takes home far more.
You don’t have to like Hart, but undervaluing him in deals isn’t going to reduce his real world value.

GM TH
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RoyalBlueSabres</b></div><div>Original trade bad agreed.
But come on dude hart being worth 2 firsts! In what world.
Yes I will comment on everyone of your posts til the ridiculousness stops</div></div>
Here’s the skinny of it. If the Flyers decide, hey, we don’t need to move Hart, he is an RFA, how much does he get on an offer sheet? 8-8.5?
His comp by offer sheet alone is worth a first, 2nd and 3rd or two first, a 2nd and a 3rd. If someone trades for Hart then lets them test RFA market, you can pretty much gain your assets back. On the flip side, if Danny traded Hart for a first and a B prospect or something… then he get offer sheeted at 8.5 and brings the team that rented him two firsts, a 2nd and 3rd… how bad would that look for Philly?
The Flyers do not need to move Hart, but if they do it will be for an overpay/ about offsheet value.
That said, I don’t agree with goalies being worth that much, but several teams are a Hart away from being the best team on paper in the league.
Also, we are not talking about lotto picks here, we are looking at picks in the 20-32 range which can be hit or miss

Laughton has face value of a first.
Hart has face value of over two firsts.
Moving up 9 spots isn’t that valuable when you’re not a top 5 pick

What I think Adams will do
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RoyalBlueSabres</b></div><div>I do imagine hart stays with Philly.
I'm just saying goalies don't have that type of value never have and that's not switching now. All these trades with a lottery pick and a top prospect will never happen.
And not for nothing Hart's biggest attribute is his age. His stats have been league average. Who is trading a package for the 13th beat goalie.
If he does get traded it will be for 2 2nds. Maybe that's not enough and that's fine I don't think there is gonna be a line of people wanting to pay more than that.</div></div>
The 13th best goalie playing on one of the worst teams in the league while all the best players on the team defensively were out with injury, is kinda interesting.
Plop him in Colorado and they win 70+ games and his stats go top 3
Do I think goalies are worth the return he will get? Probably not, they are key in the game but an AHL goalie is about to win the cup… lol you need a good team and a good system, a goalie is just a cherry on top

What I think Adams will do
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RoyalBlueSabres</b></div><div>Or it'll be two 2nds</div></div>
Here’s the thing. Flyers don’t have to move Hart. He ais young, Hart is an RFA, we can get more watching him elsewhere and just taking the offer sheet comp… most likely gets between 8 and 8.5 a year… which Philly can match but it would probably be a sign and trade.
Philly holds the cards here my guy… his RFA value is built into the deal… it would be nothing short of asinine to assume Danny jumps to trade him for minimum return

Kings Deal Vilardi
Philly passes… but will negotiate
Hele is a solid prospect to be a PK specialist, bottom six role player, but in this deal doesn’t hold any significant value, nor does 31st overall in terms of firsts…
It’s not enough difference between Durzi and Hart
Would need another high pick or good prospect. Just my opinion.

Rather than give up a star, you give up prospects. If these two were to make the team, swap them in the deal. The deal itself is a work in progress. The idea is adding depth and talent while making sure Boston has the cap to fill out the team
