Stars would have over 9 mil in cap space if they traded Dobby….they could easily sign Robo rather than packaging both together. Lol
Jokiharju was drafted by Chicago with Dallas’ original 1st round pick. Dallas drafted Jake Oettinger with Chicago’s original pick.
Stars’ first and third in 2017 for Hawks 2017 first.
I just found it funny that he’s being traded to Dallas here

Robo > Kerfoot
Stars can use that 3rd round pick to move money and sign Robertson instead of 1 season of Kerfoot.

I dunno. I didnt make this offer tho. Lol
Post creator is offering these players.
As a Stars fan, i know theres a 0% chance that Robo gets traded. Im just trying to help the offer be more realistic on the Stars return

Stars pass.
Stankoven, Bourque and Johnston are all right handed centermen. No need for Bourgault
Stars are a bit log jammed at LD, Miro has to play the right side. No need for Broberg, especially with Grushnikov and Bichsel coming in when Lindell and Suter contracts are up.
Not worth giving up Robo for that

Who says the year is being tossed?
Its better than losing 2 top prospects who will be part of a new era in Dallas.
If theres a big trade that needs to be made, it will be done at the deadline. And I doubt this would be it.
Wait and see what the new coaching can do with this roster before trading away future talent.

Stank on top line would be nuts. Cant wait to see it happen
Any chance Nill signs Hintz to an extension right after the Robo signing?

Kerfoot would be an okay add but I’m not married to it</div></div>
I can see Pavs taking a discount in Dallas. He knows he’s getting old and knows there is lots of good young talent on the team that will need raises.
2 mil would be manageable IMO.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SlevinKalevra</b></div><div>Pavelski’s cap rolls into Hintz’ new deal nicely. I doubt we keep Kerfoot long term. Guri really depends on what he does this year. But Faksa and Dobby’s cap will be coming off so there’s some room to work. Kerfoot’s too if we don’t re sign. We are always going to have cap issues as long as the bloated contracts are around. Get used to it</div></div>
Faksa’s still on contract for 3 years. This fantasy deal hasnt made it to the real world yet. Get used to it.
I dont see Nill spending to move Faksa and Dobby to get a 1 year rental like Kerfoot. Guy is 28, gonna want term and salary.
Does Pavelski retire or sign with the Stars again?

Dallas passes. New coach, better system, better structure.
Guri should be able to find his game under Deboer. I wouldnt be suprised if he is pushing a 30+ goal pace on the season come deadline.
His time under Bowness wasnt a complete waste, his stats balanced out somewhat as he was forced to pass more often. Some times he would pass too much and cost himself scoring chances tho. Bowness rags on weaknesses where Deboer will play him to his strengths.
