<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>tdobes3</b></div><div>He might be a bust, but considering half the ACGM’s this year have had their teams acquiring him I think that fan bases actually want him. And a dumpster fire franchise like the Sabres could really use some help.

Bouch is just a bridge deal, term might be a year too long but they need to bridge him even though they really shouldn’t. They’ll get stuck with another Nurse contract after bridging him.</div></div>

Not a bust, haven't lived up to potential, kind of in no man's land as a young player right now. Is a 2nd a fair price for him, for sure.
Sabres just have no room. They have about 6-9 players that all fit in that realm. Pretty good, can be great. But who knows.

In all honesty not much different between oilers and sabres. Outside of the elite talent.

If Edmonton and buffalo switched divisions. Might be having totally different conversations. Not that Buffalo was built all that well but they did have some really nice pieces. Id argue that edmonton is not built well at all, they have just been fortunate to draft the best player hockey has ever seen, and made a great choice in drai who turned to be top 5/10. But if buf made the playoffs then who knows the direction things would have gone.

But when you're on the Atlantic there has been boston and Tampa who have dominated the past 10 years, then interchanged Montreal Toronto Florida. Now there is a big 4. Makes making the playoffs pretty tricky. Whereas nobody has been that good in the pacific. The kings for a period, you could argue SJ but doesn't quite match the same fire power the Atlantic has had.
