This is apparently the assumption of Chad DeDominicis, although initially Dreger said about the players in the top 6 and bottom 6.

A 19 year old franchise defender for a guy whose contract ends at the end of the season? Zero chance. Focus on Stone’s deal in Vegas.

The 'parts' in your McCabe + parts for Hall idea would be something like Casey Mittelstadt and a 1st. No, it will be a big overpayment for Hall, for a landmark you can take Mark Stone's trade in Vegas. I just don’t see that McCabe, who has just received patch A, will bargain in such a deal. It seems to me that Bjugstad can be obtained cheaper, Rodigues + 2 or 3 round for example.

As a Buffalo fan, I would only make a deal with Edmonton. If you want to suddenly trade McCabe, then try to get a Hall from New Jersey at the expense of him and other parts than to trade him for a rather average player represented by Bjugstad.

Frankly, I do not believe that Botterill will be able to make such trades, it seems to me that he will on the contrary hold on to Mitts and Thompson, because he chose one for the draft and traded second for ROR.

I think you just chose the wrong team to trade. We definitely don’t need RHD, and I would really not want to trade Cozens, this kid really impressed me and I think he will definitely be in our top 6 in a couple of years.

This is so, but the Larsson line even in attack looks more interesting and aggressive than the Mitts line, not to mention the defense.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>hanson493</b></div><div>20+ is still a guy who can put the puck in the net. zucker shot 14.9% his career high the year he put up 60+ last year he shot an almost career low 9.8 he also shot a good 50+ more than any of the years prior to his 60 point year. last year if he hits at his career average he hits 26 goals. if he hits at 14.9% again he scores 30 again. it all depends on how accurate he is shooting. right now it looks like he is getting half the shot attempts he was over the last 2 years.</div></div>
I’m not saying that Zucker is a bad player, of course he will strengthen our top 6, because Sobotka, and Olofsson play there, who is not very good in ES, but I would not want to trade Mitts, at least for now.

Yeah, but link Mitts usually comes out last and plays the least, it is nevertheless closer to the fourth link.

20+ is generally nothing for a player who is positioned for top 6. I still do not understand Zucker player at 40 points per season or 60+, as he had one really strong season, and these are two big differences. I see Mitts progress, but he usually plays with the invisible Vesey, the terrible Rodrigues this season and the inconsistent Sheary. I would not change Mitts for now, if this is not a serious overpayment.

Well, actually, no, he is now playing in the fourth link, our third line is the Girgensons - Larsson - Okposo, at least for now.

Lol what? Mitts plays in the fourth link and receives the least time on ice, while he managed to score 7 points in 13 games. He has rather mediocre partners in the link, he is the center and still young, he can’t cost less than Zucker, who so far has had one good flash season, and then it is not clear.

Buffalo decline.
Donato is not of high value right now, and I would not change Mittelstadt to Zucker, he has shown recent progress and began to gain points, maybe he needs stronger link partners and a bit more time on ice. Perhaps if you replaced Donato with Fiala, I would have thought of such a proposal, but not this.

Well, at the moment Vesey looks mediocre, in pre-season games it was almost the same, although he even played with Jack for a while. In addition, I see no reason to break the perfectly working line Zemgus - Larsson - Okposo. You can try, of course, to place Vesey in the second link or the first, but not in this link.
