Coyle has been sub-par this year, same with Halak. McAvoy should be an option but give it to my boy Ritchboiii

Not a fan at all. Just my opinion. I would rather see the younger guys continue to get ice and their opportunity.

Overreacting to Vladars hot start
I am not opposed to this, but I don't think they can move him at the deadline, cause you have to worry about injuries. I do think that they won't have to resign Halak back and Swayman and Vladar can split the back-up role after resigning Rask next season.

The core of the team is reaching an expiration date. Kreji I will be shocked if he is back. Maybe time to think about moving Marchand. (You don't move Bergeron..... that would be like Bourque 2.0).
The advantage the Bruins have is cap sapce. They maybe able to use some of it going into an expansion draft to pick up a younger core piece.</div></div>
I can't see them moving Marchand. He still has a lot of Hockey too play. But I see your point.

I think Moving both would be major returns for the Bruins. ( good depth picks) something the Bruins have not had for a while.

Struggles
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>swinny</b></div><div>Oh boy. I was suggesting the Bruins would.be in tough at the beginning of the season. Bruins fans poo pooed this.
Scoring depth has been an issue, but I think the blueline is a bigger issue. Outside of the big 3, it just isn't great at all. Lauzon has a tonnoe of potential, but I am not sure I would be playing him top 4 minutes (noting he has looked good), a more sheltered role in the 3rd pairing would have made more sense.
Zorbil has that same potential, but..... same rule apply. Moore is a bottom.pairing guy. So is Clifton.
In short, the inability to replace Krug has had a major impact imo. Really do need a legit top 4 guy to bridge a gap.</div></div>
I knew that this season was going to be "risky" for lack of a better word. Putting Lauzon on the top pair was a stretch IMO but they really didn't have any other options, and he proved to a solid top 4 dman. Secondary scoring has always been an issue, and just look, in the Bruce Cassidy era, the best playoff run they had, Coyle, Johansson, Kuraly, and Krejci were all providing big goals. Eveyr other year, the top line is the only line going. They need a big change this offseason and bring in an impact forward this offseason. I was really hoping to bring in Josh Anderson, as although he might not score every night, his size and speed drive play, something Derbusk SHOULD be doing, but isn't.

I 100% agree, but you already know someone like Bcarlo25 and Silkysmooth will come in and not be happy with what I said (Bcarlo25 already did!)

Look, if they want to win the cup, getting Ekholm can help them SIGNIFICANTLY, and I understand the expansion situation, but there are always ways around not being able to protect certain guys. If the bruins trade for Ekholm and win the cup, I think it will be okay if they lose Gryz or Lauzon in the expansion draft.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bcarlo25</b></div><div>I’m not going to whatever twitter bot you’re sending me to. I watch the game. He’s playing fine. He’s never played a lazy shift. Settle down champ. Breathe. Take your finger off the panic button. You would have been calling for iginla trades every year of his career after 20 games.</div></div>
1, this "twitter bot" is one of the best Bruins Content accounts out there, 2. you can't be comparing the Hall of Famer Jarome Iginla to Jake, not top-6 forward at the moment Debrusk, 3. I also watch the games, and he has had too many lazy moments to count. For example, last night in OT when he changed instead of staying with his man in the 3 on 3 OT. Another example, after Kuraly's muffin pass up the middle, (he is also playing poorly) Debrusk took a wide looping turn out of the zone rather than stopping on the puck and trying his best to generate some back pressure to at least attempt to prevent the cross-zone pass that led to the caps goal.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>bhavikp27</b></div><div>Healthy scratch first. But you don't trade players like DeBrusk based on a 10-15 game sample size and we would sell low anyways. Tbh DeBrusk isn't the worst forward right now.</div></div>
https://twitter.com/bruins_stats/status/1366802749950746626?s=20
This is an ongoing issue. And he is not playing "fine" And saying "he starts slow every season" can no longer be an excuse for his poor, lazy, inconsistent play thus far. He is 24 years old in his 4th NHL season. He should have taken the next step in establishing himself as a top-6 forward by now. Maybe he is one of these late bloomers, but to me, in my eyes, not the case. No they should not trade him, that is just, my anger getting the best of me, but he should be scratched for a game maybe two.
