Thank You Kevyn
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Lenny7</b></div><div>IMO, you've gotta pay to get rid of Hutton. Regardless of whether it was an eye problem that was rectified or not, that's a huge gamble for a team to take on right now, especially for a backup goalie. Plus, everyone is pretty much set between the pipes. Plus, if someone was interested on just taking a flyer on a goalie, they could get someone like Schneider for pennies.</div></div>
Can bury him in the minors and then we don't have to pay then. He just counts a million and change against our cap. I think Anaheim with a solid #1 could take a flyer on someone like him.

Vatanen in Montour out
Montour is nice but I can’t really see the coyotes taking Hutton back under any circumstances. The reason they’re looking into trading a goalie in the first place is they have 3 on NHL deals now and the third (Hill) is young and a solid backup. So they don’t solve their problem, and gain Cap hit in the process.

mmmmm no, Thomas was untouchable. Kyrou or Kostin maybe, but Thomas is a HUGE no.

ok and 4 years of Hanifin >>>>>>>>> 1 year of Montour...
Thompson and a 4th isn't nearly enough to make up the difference. Also Montour hasn't been "better" than Tanev since his Anaheim days when Vancouver was still rebuilding

I’m late to the party here but AZ absolutely takes that. Any trade that they can make where they subtract a goalie instead of getting on back in return is a plus. I’d rather trade Raanta but if this offer is in the table it is certainly hard to refuse

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Shootica</b></div><div>So then, do you run with three goalies or do you risk losing Hill to waivers by sending him to Tuscon?
I think it would be very tempting for a team like Buffalo or Chicago to claim Hill if he went on waivers. That's most of the reason why I'm so interested in the Yotes' goalie situation. I think they may be left with no choice but to move someone.</div></div>
I didn’t know that Hill was waiver eligible. Then they could just try to move Raanta before the season.

It's been healthy scratch for Miller. Which is mostly the result of us just having way too many rostered defenseman last year. He's been solid when he's played.</div></div>
Good problem to have. I could actually see a deal like this going down.
I'm rooting for you guys this year. Best of luck.

Honestly, I don't even think you need to send a 2nd rounder, you could offer less, and the Yotes would accept. Few teams can absorb Raanta's deal, and have a need in net. 4th rounder, would be enough. Look no further than Nate Schmidt trade. <strong>Cap flexibility is everything.</strong>
Yotes have their backup, on a 1 way deal in Adin Hill. Either Kuemper or Raanta goes away.
It doesn't look like any team will be offering much for Kuemper, when the Yotes are asking for a 1st rounder+
Raanta is more or less, a salary dump, even in a compressed schedule.

Yeah, Columbus was asking for a top 6 wing in return for a goalie... buffalo isn’t doing that and a 2nd isn’t going to get Columbus to move a goalie. We have no reason to move one.

I like Montour, but he's a UFA after this season and the jets arent gonna just give up Roslovic for a rental

Olofsson doesn't need Eichel, at least one could try to play him in RW, as he played in Sweden and was successful. Hall will definitely be in the top 6 with Eichel or Staal, Mittelstadt is rumored to be unable to get fit again and it is not clear what he has been doing all these months, not sure if he will even be on the team.</div></div>

Hall can run his own line, we know this from the past performance.
Cozens <strong>will</strong> be better than Sam, I moved him to the second line to balance the scoring.
Mittelstadt <strong>IS NOT A BUST</strong> given better linemates, he will exceed his freshman performance by a long shot.
I like these lines for the stated reasons, balance, Hall and Eichel need the puck to be at their best, <strong>DO NOT PUT THEM ON THE SAME LINE</strong>
This give Buffalo three lines that can score.
Finally, I like Right and Left handed shots playing of their correct side.
