And Hemsky never scored over 30 goals in a season in his career. I’d argue he would be more like David Perron when he was on the Blues than Jordan Kyrou because 43 of the 174 goals Hemsky scored was on the Power Play. Which is just like Perron.

I also disagree with this. If you believe Guhle is a #1 D you do you. But I’m not trading a PPG player for a small sample size defenseman. I think he has the upside of a 2-3 but again no one is trading an already PPG a player for a “1D” that Montreal fans have always up play prospects potential.
Please give me examples of players who are PPG a players getting traded for a defenseman who has very little time as a “Top Pairing” that you believe him to be.

Bruh. Guhle is probably at best a #4, <em><strong>IF </strong></em>he fulfills his potential. Kyrou is an established top line talent signed to a friendly eight-year deal. They take that and run away peeing themselves with laughter.</div></div>
I disagree Guhle as the upside of a 2-3D maybe not a 1 but definitely a 2-3. I still wouldn’t trade Kyrou for him.

But i guess you arr better to stay put will all those 30 years old who can’t defend a beach volleyball.</div></div>

You would have to take Krug or Leddy back in order for it to work. I also think for this deal Blues would be paying more than just Neighbours and 1st plus one of those 2 contracts if that says anything about this trade.
Pens don’t make sense after getting Graves.
I think the Dallas one could work but again you would have to take a big contract back with that as well.

Again I can’t believe someone actually said that last one..
You talk out of both sides of your mouth yet I’m the clown…people come to this site to think of trades. Maybe take up knitting instead clown</div></div>
Let’s put it this way. BLUES need PLAYERS who can ATTACK at the NET DIRECTLY. WHAT does LAFRENIERE DO? NOT that he attacks from wide spots and speaking directly to someone who WATCHES A TON OF RANGERS GAMES. He also turns the puck over a ton, and plays NO DEFENSE AT ALL. You also forget RANGERS HAVE ONE OF THE BEST DEFENSES IN THE LEAGUE. So his turnovers don’t cost them as much. Not only that but you took him and put him in the TOP 6. THAT IS GOING TO MAKE US WORSE NOT BETTER. What is Ryan Lindgren another 2nd PAIRING defenseman that you think you can plug into the top pair it be all rainbows and butterflies. Who else did you get oh an overpaid albatross contract of a 4th liner for the next 4 f*ckin years. Not only that but you trade away Torp who scored more goals this year than Goodrow has in his entire career. Kapanen is PLAYING AND PERFORMING BETTER THAN LAF THEREFORE I think that means he’s BETTER. Laf has had 3 years to try and become the all star you think he is, and he hasn’t matter of fact I don’t even think he’s worth 3 million AAV but you know you go with whatever you wanna say pick up Pittsburgh Pirates baseball because that’s what you’re gonna lead us to clown.

Yes, cherry picking. You forget the Blues had a deep roster when Kyrou was a kid. Rangers when they got Laf did not. It’s considered cherry picking because you are using circumstantial stats to try and prove your bullsh*t point while the Rangers still wouldn’t make this trade either, but nice try you make all Blues fans look like clowns out here with bullsh*t like this.

Once again Cherry picking stats. How many minutes on ice was Kyrou given on a team who had more depth than the Rangers had and was a lot stronger than what Rangers were. I’ll double on that Kyrou has never been benched for playing like crap like Laf did. Fun fact they decided to play Sammy Blais over Alexis Lafreniere at that point. So please continue to cherry pick stats.

Adding 2 more defenseman to make the amount of 1 way NHL defenseman up to 10 and getting a player that we weren’t going to use and literally gave away already isn’t exactly a lot of reasons to make this trade. If I want to trade Krug I’m packaging him with something to somewhere and getting about the same value but in other positions. The point is to offload the log jam of defenseman we have not add another 2 defenseman so we have 4 more defenseman than spots to give on the ice.

You lose credibility if you think 34 points in 66 games isn’t better than 39 points in 81 games. Lafreniere has played 3 seasons and he hasn’t even passed 100 points produced in his career so yes he’s overhyped, overrated, and plays like dogwater on the ice. He doesn’t even fit our team build well so you lost all credibility and also have never paid any attention to Blues because Kapanen has speed and attacks the net goes straight to the net. We don’t need another outside at the boards shooter who can’t cover his own end if we want that we have friggin Kyrou for that. Don’t make a clownpost and expect me not to call you out on it.

You don’t need to buy out Krug, for starters Drury says hell no already. No point in Blues trading away cost controlled Toropchenko and Kapanen (by the way a way better overall player than Laf has been) you now lack even more depth by outsourcing Alexandrov and Toropchenko for a player who is overpaid and is being overpaid for the next 4 years to play bottom line minutes. What is the actual point of making this trade?

Little to optimistic imo. It’s been a long time since he was in Tampa and doing what he did. Drouin doesn’t have the same skill set to be a top line producing forward I’m not saying Tarasenko is elite, but at least he can play a bit better and has a better shot than Drouin.
