I like this but I think Nino is more realistic than Troch at this point. He’ll be a bit cheaper and won’t need as much term. Troch would be a nice safety net if KK can’t handle 2C but I just think he’ll get hard to compete with offers even if he’s willing to take a slight discount to stay.
If that were the case we could also get a slight upgrade from Soucy on that third pair - I wouldn’t mind Zadarov personally.
Also agree with you on the Necas Fiala base deal - trade makes sense for both side imo.

Got it. Thanks. For a moment I wondered if maybe this ACGM felt Seattle owed Minnesota a 2nd rounder for taking Rask off their hands! (Well, "1/2" Rask, that is!)

I think that if you want the Wild to package Dumba & Fiala together, you're going to have to pony up someone like JJP or Quinn. Ryan Johnson is a good prospect but Minnesota is pretty stocked in LHD prospects (Lambos/O'Rourke/Daemon Hunt) so his value is lesser for them than it might be for another team. I do, however, think that if you give up one of those higher-end, close to the NHL prospects, you can unload Anders Bjork on them - otherwise I see them resisting getting him in a package since he's not a very useful player at this point.

Definitely not for Taylor Hall - for Mark Stone he probably shouldve but again Lou doesn't trade his guys. He'll trade picks and prospects he didn't draft, but not someone like Wahlstrom with elite upside and only 21 YO.

Ya for sure, I always struggle with the 1sts plus prospect ranges also in deals. Especially on this site and the ranges of fanbases that never seem to be overly happy with anything.

I think all great teams have a good mix of the two so I don’t mind if that’s how they handle business.</div></div>
Burns me a little, Minnesota turning into the jets from 19 and the jets turning into Minnesota from 19. Being a jets fan and looking at bubbling for a while, til they retool or rebuild. Just an opinion

Need more size to go with the skill, final 4 your going to need to win a physical series at some point in the playoffs. This squad could probably hold its own 5vs5, and on special teams. Just not sure of tenders ability to steal a series or win a physical war, which is pretty much guaranteed to escape central.

Mystery teams

"Mystery teams" doesn't exactly make that obvious. Something like "Dark horses" or "Under the radar teams" would get that idea across much better. That or explain it in the description right below the title. Not my place to police how you post, though; just suggestions.
While you're free to think that these are possible, it would only be the faintest of vaguest of possibilities in the case of most of them in my eyes. If we're talking about those teams, I think you'd be looking at something more like a 1-for-1 Nylander swap (I doubt it, but that'd be more plausible IMO) or something larger from PHI (and not involving the 1st) who would presumably be viewing Fiala as a cornerstone piece to build around.
As an EDM fan, I see zero chance they'd be involved. If they were truly prepared to commit that kind of money to a scoring W, they'll commit it to Kane without spending assets.

Realistic
See you’re forgetting that Guerin went on a sports radio program and OBLITERATED Fiala’s value, which was already abysmal to begin with. Opposing GMs are gonna feast on him….or excuse me, opposing GM. Implying there are multiple teams interested would benefit his value, but that can’t be a real factor. Everyone else will just sign Forsberg or Gaudreau for free.

Bold Predictions

Johnson (IMO) projects as a 4/5, I wouldn't call him "great", but he is "good". Problem is we have Lambos, who I think could be more of a 3/4, and O'Rourke, Hunt, and Peart in our system all could be 4-6D. In other words, he doesn't hold the value for us as he would for Buffalo. Portillo could be a starter some day and he's a fine piece, but we have Wallstedt already who would take away minutes from Portillo which would likely squash his development. Mitts (again, IMO) is a bottom 6 center that would be an expensive 4th liner on the Wild. I would be intrigued by him had we not traded for Jost, but I don't see any way Dean plays him above Hartman, Ek, Gaudrea, or even Rossi if he makes the team. That 1st is probably going to be the last pick in the draft, or close to it. If you're trading a 25 year old 85 point winger, sorry, but that's hardly a quality piece.

Turnover year
This is what Ottawa needs (top LW and RD) and I would be happy if we got both Fiala and Dumba. Only way this works is if Ottawa sheds some salary first. They might try to get rid of White and Zaitsev, but that might be hard. We won't spend to the cap and we need to re-sign Norris too.
Also, I don't think Ottawa would want to get rid of Zub, he's our best RD right now lol (and a fan fav). Maybe the offer could be something like Brannstrom and our first (as a starting base)

7) Nemec
RHD is nice and all. But we need to go with a Center/Winger after moving out Fiala. That's priority number one.
Savoie, Lambert, and Nazar are all center prospects with top six potential and are likely wingers at worst. Slafkovsky and Kemell are excellent options too.
As nice as it is thinking about one of Jiricek or Nemec. It would be foolish to go for one of those guys at that spot. I trust Brackett to do his thing and pick us up and build up our RHD depth with later picks.
We're either going to have a low 1st and 2 2nds in this draft on top of that potential top ten pick or the top ten pick and 3 2nds.
Use the later picks on RHD, and keep the top ten pick for a top-tier center/winger.</div></div>
I've soured on Lambert. He's skilled, but he has a tendency to take nights off and he switched Liiga teams halfway through the season because he wasn't happy with how they played him. Seems like too much of a headcase IMO, and as Guerin has said "there's no room for petty bull****".
As for your point on RD, you aren't wrong, but we do have Rossi who would hopefully make up for some (and ideally all) of the offense we lose by trading Fiala. I'd definitely prefer a forward, but having a top pairing RD prospect is not the worst thing in the world.

Savoie. Right shot center, may have the highest offensive upside in the draft. Hell of a skater, too. He's a bit smaller than you'd like, though, and his size does concern me considering Rossi would be our other top 6 center. That said, the NHL has been trending smaller the past 5-10 years so it may not be a huge issue.
I'd also be happy with Jiricek since I don't think Addison will be the long-term Dumba replacement we thought he'd be. We are super thin at RD in our system and Lambos-Jiricek could be a pretty good top pairing in 5 years.
There's some nice wingers at the top of this class but this franchise is so center-starved and I think Guerin has learned how hard it is to trade for a top line center. You have to draft those guys, and the 5th-6th overall pick in a draft that has a ton of good center prospects would be the perfect opportunity to do just that.

Id go Savoie then Jiricek, personally. We have a reasonably stocked prospect pool, so may as well shoot for a high upside guy like Savoie.
