No interest in moving Kulich AT ALL. And no we would not be adding to get Reinbacher imo

Anyone worth a damn in this league has no trade protection. And most of free agency is a terrible way to spend your money. See all of Kevyn Adams' free agent signings.
Even if you have a far more positive outlook on this team than I do, there's no denying their best (or i guess surest?) shot at being anywhere close to good is to keep drafting and waiting.</div></div>
Yes keep drafting players I agree with that. However to say there aren't good players available that can help our team improve immediately and that wouldn't be rentals either is far from true. There are also some UFA options that wouldn't be bad ideas.
Trade targets: Borgen, Walker, C. Tanev, Jiricek (very unrealistic) those would all help us on the D side. Lots of options to improve our forward group in the bottom 6 too. Goaltending I admit there are few options for trade
UFA signings like Matt Roy or Dylan Demelo would be wise adds and players that shouldn't cost an arm and a leg towards the cap

These trades all favour Buffalo. No shot Seattle makes that trade, Borgen is miles better than Jokiharju. Iafallo is worth much more than that as well. I could go on but will abstain

Not available but his value is equivalent to 3 1sts I'd guess
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Fail4Nail</b></div><div>I think Andersson is good, but I think you can get a better RH dman if you're offering that much.</div></div>
Like whom? Andersson is a beast he's exactly what we could use in the top 4
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Stadel</b></div><div>The value here is probably close on all of it but like none of those guys are getting moved for a combo of NTC and team timeline (Andersson is probably Calgary’s next captain)
The Sabres need to stockpile some picks and start adding some high upside d-men, like buium or parekh. The trade route isn’t viable for them and free agency seldom bears fruit</div></div>
Plenty of targets that meet our needs that don't have NTC. Agree we need to draft high level D men but that doesn't help the team for many years and we need to be improving the NHL roster right now.
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>KrakBirds23</b></div><div>There's not really much incentive for Seattle to trade players with term for players in contract years. The pieces could have more potential but overall trade looks really lopsided in Buffalo's favor.</div></div>
Gourde, Tanev, and Borgen are both UFAs after 2024-2025 they don't have term. All three players I traded to them are younger, team controlled (RFAs), and have higher ceilings. No way Seattle would decline that lol

Jiri Kulich isn't being moved. The organization loves him and he's been incredible playing the way he has as an 18 and 19 year old in the AHL. Mailloux is all yours we don't want or need him

Modest Moves
Kulich is too talented to be wasted on the 4th line, same with Rosen being a scratch. Zadorov isn't going to help our D-core. Johnson has to be playing and I hope Clifton is the scratch. Your easy solution is to trade a combination of Savoie, Rosen, Krebs to get a legit top 4 RHD to help solve both the forward logjam and the awful D core situation

You can do whatever you'd like since you aren't a Sabres fan anymore. I however will continue rooting for my team through thick or thin. I'm not going to quit on the franchise. I personally don't care either way about management or ownership. They aren't the ones I cheer for

Your first two stats only show why buying him out is a stupid idea. 33 points in 38 games. Even strength producer. Alex Tuch is -1, Rasmus Dahlin is -16 they must be trash players too eh? Reinhart is not deserving nor worth that ridiculous contract but some GM will be a clown and give him that. Until this season he would be an 8 mil player, maybe now he's worth closer to 9.

You are fired and rightfully so. You trade Power which makes no sense and then sign Skjei to that poor contract. The goaltending stays the exact same which is doomed to fail and you signed Reinhart to 11.5 mil???? You bought out Skinner, who is on pace for 36 goals this season????? What?

Too high of an AAV for Mitts and Pesce. If those are the prices I'd pursue another RHD and trade Mittelstadt (likely for a RHD or G).
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>csick</b></div><div>Because Rosen and Ostlund aren’t anything more than krebs is. 3rd line projected at best</div></div>
I wouldn't say that. Rosen's stock is projecting to be a top 6 player. He's having a really good season in the A. His shot and speed are top 6 quality. Ostlund I haven't watched much of. I would peg Savoie as an A+ prospect, Rosen as an A prospect, and Ostlund as a B+ one.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AntiAnalytics</b></div><div>Just bc we overpaid for Greenway, that doesn’t mean his trade value will correlate to every other player we might trade for
Sabres *might* not wanna pay that price for Kampf, Simple bc we are happy continuing to develop Krebs in our “defensive center” role, they’d making acquiring Kampf unnecessary
And i felt the need to “state the obvious” bc it seems like we are talking about 2 different things
1- what YOU would do
VS
2- what Adams will do
I’m interested in what’s gonna happen in reality
I personally think bringing in a good defensive center makes sense (i think we agree there)- i just don’t know that Adams feels the same way</div></div>
Hopefully all of the goals we allow against and our atrocious faceoff numbers make Adams aware (if he isn't already) that we are in desperate need of someone like a Kampf or Sturm to help us in that department. Hopefully he also realizes that we don't need to keep all of our later round picks in every draft and that moving one or two of them for a player like that would be wise... Time will tell I suppose

Bolstering 4th Line
If you change absolutely nothing with our team except adding a 4th line center you haven't really improved our chances of making the playoffs in such a stacked division/conference. A goalie is desperately needed and Clifton cannot be playing top 4 minutes
