Oh he changed the post from coburn for Anaheim’s fifth, that makes more sense now

The main trade is pretty good imo, but I don’t get why Anaheim would trade for coburn

Trade Kessel
I don’t think the Kessel trade is actually that bad for Winnipeg, in fact it might be bad for penguins considering they’ll give up so many picks and domoulin is signed much longer than Trouba. But the Vancouver trade won’t work, they really like dahlen.

Lucic Trade. Again.
I’m not sure lucic with samorukov and a third is enough even for nothing, not to mention a top 6 forward like zuccarello

NJ Takes the cup
Trouba has an arbitration hearing, so he’ll be signed well before the season since the arbitrator will decide in a few days. Nylander is worth significantly more that what you’re giving

The Future Bolts?
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>tkecanuck341</b></div><div>I think that deal might be low for Vasilevskiy, especially if Tampa Bay wins the Cup in the next two years. Hellebuyck just got a long-term $6.7M deal after a single 40-win season. Presumably Vasy will have three of those (and possibly a Vezina, Conn Smythe, and/or Stanley Cup) under his belt when his new contract kicks in. If he maintains his quality of play from this season, I think his deal will be in the $8-8.5M range.
The other signings all look reasonable, although I don't think you can call a 4-year contract a bridge deal. If he's not taking a max-term contract, Point will either push for that 5th year to take him to UFA, or he'll want a 2 year deal that will allow him a raise in 2022-23. I don't think there's any way he accepts 4 years.</div></div>
Hellebuyck just got 6.166, not 6.7

You realize stralman is a good top 4 D right? I think Domingue will probably be just as good as ward, and you don’t need to spend 3 million on your goalie when you have vasy

Karlsson Trade according TB-NYR McDonaugh Trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>palhal</b></div><div>Don't see how this is similar to the McDonagh deal. McDonaugh was traded two season worth of playoffs, for a # 1, a former # 1 and a former second. JT Miller and Namestakinov cancel each other.
Here you want a last years former number 6 and 16 overall, much higher than the Tampa picks, a number 1 and what might be Vegas's best Dman this year Miller.</div></div>
Karlsson is still significantly better than mcdonagh though, that’s why the prospects are better

Where did you see that the first is not available? I saw he doesn’t want to trade it, but I think he would be willing to trade it for the right player. Idk how Tampa would be in the karlsson or McDonagh, or even green rumours if they weren’t willing to part with the first at all

How Chia will do it
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BeterChiarelli</b></div><div>They aren't as bad as this season would have you figure. I won't excuse Chiarelli for his terrible value assessment in the past couple of years, he should be fired for that alone. However:
1. Draisaitl went out early this season with a concussion, and wasn't back to 100% until about a month ago. You can see it in his production.
2. Sekera and Klefbom haven't played near 100% all season. Sekera came back from ACL probably a little prematurely, and won't be back to full health until getting the chance to properly work out this summer. Klefbom's hand is probably busted, and needs to have some time off to come back at 100%.
3. Having Nuge out has dumpstered this team more than most people expected.
4. Larsson hasn't been in the proper headspace to be a top-4 dman this year; it probably has a lot to do with his dad's passing. I figure it may not have been as sudden as the organization let on, and it really took a toll on him.
5. Lucic has been snakebit. He needs an exorcism at this point.
A change in special teams staff / assistant coaches and having McLellan quit gifting Caggiula top-6 minutes when he hasn't warranted them will do this team a lot of good in the next season. Let Talbot and Lucic refocus their games over the summer, let everyone come back healthy. This team could at least contend for a wildcard spot (as is) when running at 100%. Moves made this summer by hopefully a new GM (Julien BrisBois please omg) should address the need even further.</div></div>
Players always go through ups and downs during a season, I don’t think you can blame some players performance strictly on their injuries. A lot of the players over performed last year. Maybe you could blame Larssons recent play, but the enter season... also what else do you really expect from Larsson? He’s not a top pair guy, not offensive

Hypothetical trade with Jets (once Sekera is back)
It would be very stupid to trade klefbom right now, with his value being as low as possible. Then again, that is the kind of thing chiarelli does, so maybe it is realistic
