Perrault ELC To AHL Possible Late Season Callup
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Cornbreadnhl</b></div><div>Trocheck is better than Chytil in every aspect of the game. The only thing in Chytil's favor is his age, but with his concussion history it may not matter. If Lavi removes Trocheck as the center between Panarin and Laffy, he would need his head checked by a professional.</div></div>
Chytil won that spot at camp and only lost it due to injury. Hard to judge the fit at this point until they try it again.

He shows flashes of being a star but it’s very inconsistent and the foot speed still isn’t there. The Jets still very much believe in him, (and still a very good chance he becomes a good player) so I don’t think this trade would never happen.</div></div>
That’s what I assumed. I’m sure the Jets would field offers but guessing this isn’t enough to sway there hand.

Rumors he might ask out due to lowered ice time but could just be reading to much into it. I don’t argue Kakko is a bust but I won’t say that he’s a complete non-factor. He suffered a significant injury and struggled to build off a respectable season last year. It happens.

Playoff Lines With Chytil
He is medically cleared and practicing in regular jersey, he can definitely play but it’s up to laviolette at this point. Would be interesting if he did as he’s everything we need right now with the way Roslovic and Wennberg have played.

By TDL next year if he was +-25 points with 10 goal he will be flipped for 3rd pick with half salary retention. No need to cap dump him, if that player would be Anderson you're offer would make more sense however this won't happen for Buf</div></div>
Ok, krebs for pick it is

I assumed they’d ask for one of those guys to move him. Marchenko is a stud and only 23. Gotta give a lot

Next Year
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Garak</b></div><div>Honestly, just look at the last couple off seasons and trade deadlines. There is a lot NY could probably do with a 25th overall pick that would be more effective than Kakko. Though, you'd probably be better off asking for a future 1st, and then using it at next seasons TDL to address roster needs. Kakko is due a raise anyway, his QO this summer is $2.4M, and I wouldn't be surprised if him and his agent wanted more. So use that money to pay someone else Roslovic, promote an ELC guy like Othmann to the NHL full time, and re-assess at the deadline next year... That is, IF Drury is ready to move on.</div></div>
What would they be able to get? I see the NYR signing him to a $2.5/2yr extension but if they can trade him for someone young and skilled they would do it. There is no chance they move on from him to re-sign someone like Roslovic. It would have to be a Dach/Romanov type deal which I can’t see a team doing at this point in time. Maybe would’ve worked last year after his 18-goal, 40 point season at 21-22 Y.O.

Yeah he’s nothing special but he’s effective for the role he plays and was injured this year to build off a respectable season last year. It all comes down to what helps the team more and picks just don’t do it unless they are along the lines of the poster’s package.
