I mean sure, everyone starts at 0 in October and 'anything can happen', but for FLA to miss the playoffs TB, TOR, DET would all have to be better than they them. Boston will be.

Juraj Slafkovsky and Neighbours are at a similar point in the upward arc of their careers -- here are the three youngsters' first full seasons:

My point is the converse: that from what (little) we've seen so far, there is no fact-based reason to assert with any confidence that either Neighbours or Slafkovsky will ultimately turn out to be a more impactful player than Zegras.</div></div>

Short answer, obviously the league elites are flashy.
Long answer, you need a lot of nonflashy guys to win with. OReilly, Bergeron, Danault, etc. I'm not putting these guys in the same group, but when you can't find Elite players you need as many of these as you can find. Bergeron was Elite, but not flashy. More impactful? yes I like JN, yes I think he can be more 'impactful' than Zegras.

il faut avoir la puck dans la LNH d'aujourd'hui. Hutson a souvent la puck. Les Harris et Barron sont omniprésents dans la ligue, ils peuvent être remplacés assez facilement. Tu peux seulement jouer 6, max 7 defenseurs par match.
